This is the worst Starbucks around here. The parking lot is not capable of holding more than 10 cars let alone being able to let them get in and out properly. Because of this I usually go through the drive through but that sucks as well. It wasnt very busy today around 4, maybe 4 cars parked and 3 cars in front of me in the drive through. But despite this it took me 10 minutes to get to the speaker to order, and another 10 minutes to go the 15 feet to the window. And by the time I got my drink (frappuchino) the whip cream and basically the entire drink was straight liquid. For the amount of money we pay for these drinks and the amount of time waiting for them they should be correct. The staff there is definitely slow and incapable of handling customers inside the store and in drive through at the same time. Would not recommend this location unless they seriously improve on everything.

Do you know what its like to just want one thing. A simple thing like a bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich? The menu says all day right? So I drive all the way to get it and "sorry we dont have that" okay do you have this sandwich? "Sorry we dont have that either" theres multiple things to eat on the bloody menu and all she replys with is we have one... Who in gods name has a popular business such as Starbucks and has one sandwich. Now I have to go to Arbys do you know what that feels like diabetes is what it feels like!! You know what Starbucks at least DDs has the food you try to order it may not satisfy my taste buds but at least I wont be as disappointed. BUT SORRY WE HAVE ONE left ... And its not even the one you want.

By far the WORST starbucks experience ever. Im a student at a university couple minutes away from here and I always go here with couple of my friends but today I went there after 10pm through the drive tru and the worker was being very RUDE and IMPOLITE. She was an African American lady with glasses on and every time I tired to order something, she would always cut me off... I tried to get her attention to ask her something but she IGNORED me. I know this for a fact becuase she was right next to the window but facing the other way. I know it was late and I understand late night shifts could be tiring but she was going overboard.. Im very disappointed and I will never be going back here agaia.. and that includes my friends.

I get the venti Carmel macchiato upside-down often here. Pretty consistent in taste and strength. The drive-thru staff is friendly and fast. I would like Starbucks to change their policy on throwing out trash. Im always left with the wrapper from the straw to clutter up my car. It would be 5 stars if they would be so courteous as to accept the wrapper and throw it in the trash, right there and then. I often see the driveway also cluttered with other peoples wrappers they have just thrown out the window. Lets all do our parts to save the Earth. Sincerely, Rebecca

Pulled up to order and I guess it didnt notify them that I was there sat there for about 6 minutes and then finally pulled up to the window. I was frustrated and felt ignored and honestly kinda raised my voice at them and they instantly apologized and took my order and made it promptly. Of course I immediately felt bad and apologized and a tall blond guy told me it was ok and said to make sure I have a good rest of the night. Seriously so nice! I still feel bad but hope they know how their kindness did better my night !

I love Starbucks but the first time I went to this location I was treated rudely. I told Keisha that I was waiting to order and she was like well even though your waiting you have to be upfront near the register and she was rude and loud! And a fellow customer actually felt uncomfortable and moved because she wanted us in the front. She was loud the whole time and it was not a calm and peaceful atmosphere. I dont know why she was rude or what her problem is but thats not customer service !

This is a very busy store due to its location and drive through services. The Baristas are great and extremely friendly. I have been called by name for the past 7 years. The only downside is that if you go at busy times, your service can occasionally suffer. I have gotten all they way to work (downtown norfolk) only to realize I have the wrong drink (Skinny instead of Soy, Sugarfree instead of regular). All in all its still a great location.

This has to be the worst Starbucks in all of tidewater. Every time I give them another chance, they disappoint me worse than the previous visit. There is always a long wait and they have not gotten my drink right one time. I order the exact same drink every time and this is the only location that not only gets it wrong every time, it also tastes different every time! Where is the corporate management presence at this location???

I went in for a Unicorn Frappe because my kids wanted one. Of course they were out because its the last day. My kids were disappointed but the baristas were really sweet about it. They had some pink sprinkle powder left and made something as close to it as they could. Needless to say they went above and beyond to make my kids happy and i appreciate it so much! Great job!!! Will post a picture. Look for the redhead!!!

Could have been exceptionally better. The initial welcome which engages your customer as part of your team wasnt there. Leaving was the same experience. As we were leaving we proceed to dismissed with the expectation to be engaged and welcomed back. That never happened. The store was in great condition. Staff needs to improve on interpersonal skills!!!

I want to thank the Starbucks Kemps river team for providing consistent excellent service and coffee. My wife and I come in on a regular basis to study, and the people at this Starbucks are always welcoming, gracious, and timely. Plus they made my "frufru" Venti Light Sugar Free Mocha with a Double Shot Java Chip Frappuchino especially well tonight!

Terrible parking, usual Starbucks fare The food and drinks are great, they do work very fast here to accommodate the drive thru. However, there are not many seats inside (none outside) and with the drive thru moving so quickly, it is difficult to access parking. I always park somewhere else and walk.

This place is pretty much everything one should look for in a Starbucks. I do expierience one problem, though; its too small! When I was coming in there really often to do homework in a good environent, there was no space left for me. Around 2-6 its usually packs...just keep that in mind.

I would say this your typical starbucks, however it has rather become my "3rd" place. If you are considering an oil change, the firestone is right beside the starbucks and which you could enjoy the glorious aroma of coffee while taking care of much needed maintenance.

Devin was the best batista Ive ever had. We connected instantly and he was so nice and funny!! He recommended something for me and it was absolutely delicious. I would go back just to see Devin he was that great
