I have purchased used in the past,but this is by far the WORST purchase EVER!!!...My red flag should have been when I was lied to about my finance options in an attempt to get me to agree to in house finance with ridiculous interest rates...Issue #2 I was handed the FOB-less key and given an IOU stating the keyless remote would be ordered(To be continued) Issue #3 Pull off the lot drive around the corner, vehicle runs HOT!!! Was told it was something simple, fluids werent put in properly and system needed to have the air bubbles burped out(waited hours patiently) Issue #4 approximately a week later, vehicle runs HOT AGAIN!!! Fluids pouring from vehicle... Take it back only to get the run around... They give me a funky loaner vehicle that smelled like jungle animals puked and procreated on the seats...my vehicle was FINALLY ready after a couple days...Issue#5 After numerous attempts and having been lied to countless times that my keyless remote had been ordered, I finally got frustrated enough to demand they send me to the dealer for the part and labor...Joell has no business/customer service skills and continued to try and save DADDY a few bucks After having me wait over 6 MONTHS after purchase for the remote... Issue #6 A few weeks after receiving the remote, my steering rack, steering joint, CV axle, clock spring and a numerous of other things are bad, rendering the vehicle UNSAFE and HAZARDOUS to drive... My repair estimate ran over $4800!!!... I never ever write reviews, but this review is sincerely for any future consumers looking to purchase from these people. Myself and my familys safety was never taken into consideration. Beware!!!

Found the automobile through Car Guru. Express Motors was very open about me looking over the vehicle. After the test drive on the Virginia Beach Expressway, I told them of an issue with the vehicle. Brent was quick to address the problem should I decide to make a purchase. Also, he gave me a generous value on my trade-in. During my extended wait for the technical problem to be fixed, Joel actually offered to share her lunch. I gratefully declined. So long as your credit is good, you have your pick of the lot. With the limited selection because of space, the variety offered by Express Motors is not bad. The place is great for a #2 or #3 vehicle that is reliable and clean. For the family that is getting on its feet, stop in here for something that will give long service. The prices are very competitive and the vehicles are solid. If you want a truck, give Brent a call so he can line something up as those vehicles tend to go quickly. Bottom line is the people at Express Motors are easy to talk to, and that is the biggest part of a car consideration on any car lot.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! I bought a vehicle with these people. I have had it one year, and have been lucky enough to drive it about 8 months out of the year. The mechanics are simply retarded, and the salesman are only polite while signing the paperwork. Once you are legally binded they will do or say anything to refuse mechanical assistance, EVEN after they sell you a warranty. in 1 year i have gone through 2 fuel pumps, 2 batteries, fuel lines, and countless days just sitting at there shop not even being looked at. Guess what, my truck still isnt fixed and left me stranded on the highway for the same issues that were paid for already twice. They also told me that if i refer some one who purchased i would get a refferal bonus. I have sold 3 cars for them and havent gotten i refferal. Unfortunatley it was family that purchased the cars and are going through non stop problems. NEVER AGIAN

I am the most cynical person you have ever met. I want to have a reason to complain, but I dont. I have bought used before and have been screwed before...cough, cough.."Drive Time." I only have had the car for 9 days. The second day I had the "check engine" light came on, so I took it back to the dealer. I get a call the next day, it was the gas cap! I didnt put it on all the way. He bought me a new gas cap. He also went out of his was way to help me get a decent rate for the car. They also helped us short some insurance issues out so we could drive the car legally. Like I said earlier I am very cynical and I am waiting for something to go wrong, but nothing has so far. But then again, I didnt figure out I got screwed by "Drive Time" till 6 months down the road. Fingers crossed, they are still as nice as the day I met them.

Express Motors was fantastic. This was my first time buying a car from a dealership, and they were extremely patient and answered every single question I could think of and more. They made the process as simple and painless as possible and were more than happy to let me have the car checked out by a mechanic of my choosing. The battery was dead when I first went to turn on the car, and before I could even say anything, they had already ordered and installed a brand new battery for no cost. I highly recommend this dealership. It is family owned and operated, and for someone who comes from a small country town in the South, that was very comforting to me. These people are honest and hardworking and made my car buying experience a breeze. Good fair prices too. 10/10 experience easily.

Oh my goodness where do I begin? My experience at Expess Motors is one I will never forget.I got the car of my dreams for a great price ( VW beetle convertible) but most importantly the hospitality and dedication Joelle and her father Simon showed in making sure I was nothing less than satisfied before leaving the lot speaks volumes to the essence of being a true family business. The process was fast, easy, and hassle free . Joelle was available at anytime of the day( or night) to answer my questions and walk me through the process, making my 1st car buying experience excitingly memorable . My husband and I came here 2/13/17 looking for a reliable car or svu for our family. Our credit isnt the best but this company really works with you. Brent is absolutely awesome and was open and honest about everything from the beginning. He worked Magic, lol. He made our experience very comfortable and put us in exactly what we wanted! Joelle is also absolutely amazing! She explained all of our paperwork to us so we would understand payments, etc and would not be blindsided by anything later on. I would recommend anyone looking for a reliable vehicle in a positive environment with Courteous and Wonderful people... COME HERE!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Im so happy I found this place! Brent is awesome. I was in a tough situation and he was able to get me into a car in three days! He kept up with me multiple times every day since the first time I went and talked with him and kept consistent contact until I drove off the lot in my new car. Joelle is awesome also. She is so sweet, and helped keep my son entertained while I did all my paperwork. They dont treat you as just a customer. Theyre so friendly, honest, and look out for you in all ways possible. I was so satisfied when I left there. Any time someone says they need a car, Im gonna tell them to go to Express Motors and see Joelle and Brent!
