The store itself usually has a great selection and is fairly clean- Id rate the location a 3/4. Unfortunately today (Aug 13, 2015) there was a horrible female manager with dark hair, pretty tall, who was just AWFUL. So mean-hearted, zero compassion, and rude. I was shopping alone with my 2 daughters (16 months and 6 years) and I desperately needed to use a restroom. Frightened to leave my children outside unattended, I brought in my shopping cart. I had completely forgotten about the $6 package of rags in the bottom of my basket under where the baby was sitting. This manager also came in to use the restroom while I was in a stall. All I heard was someone speaking loudly to my oldest little girl, so I quickly finished and walked out. The manager was yelling at her to leave the bathroom because carts werent allowed. First off, there were not signs saying a cart wasnt allowed, second, do not yell at a child let alone ask them to leave where their mother set them, and third- try some empathy. Where was I going to set a 16month old? There wasnt a baby seat or changing table in the restroom. She was angry about the hand towels and I apologized saying I had forgotten them in the cart in my rush to use the restroom, and should have left them outside. I giggled trying to diffuse the situation and said, and what do you do with the baby in the restroom, she wont stand patiently at my feet. I wish! And the woman said, well you take the baby out of the cart and figure it out, in a harsh and condensending tone. I said, so I have to bring in my own stroller then? To which she then ignored my kids and I and went into a stall. I left without making my purchase or finishing shopping. I was so angry and upset. I frequent that store biweekly, sometimes weekly, I love their products! But I will not be going back with that manager at that store. Ill find another location. My daughter was scared saying that a stranger wanted her to leave with baby sissy- that was enough for me.

Overall I think this is a great place to buy home goods because of the price and quality of the product; however, the service needs to be improved. I never write reviews but I cant believe how rude the management there was. I was there on a day they were updating the store, while I was looking at a product, one of the managers was giving orders to a staff manager and push right by me without any type of acknowledgment or an "excuse me". I wasnt offended because I just assume she was probably busy. But this happen again in a different section but this time she almost knock me down. I understand it was probably a busy day but as a manger you need to set an example for your employees, but I refuse to spend money at a please where I am treated rudely and feel unwelcome.

This location is actually one of the better HomeGoods/TJ Maxx combos Ive been to. The only problem I had was the lady that rung me up. Indian lady with light green/blueish (maybe grayish) eyes. Threw my receipt at me. Not sure what her problem was but, she desperately NEEDS better people skills.

I have not had a bad experience here yet! The staff doesnt really know where their inventory is, but I wilt it slide since the girl seemed new. The line moves quickly and I like the automated system telling you which register to proceed to. They really do have awesome deals and steals!!!

The customer service is fairly good! They could be a bit more welcoming and more patient with customers. Although they have some employees that stand out and are surpurb with greeting and helping customers! Overall I thoroughly enjoy shopping here!

It is bright and airy. The merchandise is tidy and appealing. The manager, Katherine, was on the floor the whole time we were in the store greeting customers and new employees. The check out worked quickly and efficiently. I will be back.

This store needs new management. I love Home Goods & TJ Maxx but shopping here is unbareable. I live 5 minutes away but drive to the Fair Lakes Home Goods to shop, totally worth the drive. Hope they can make the right changes soon.

This is a great store, but the TJ Maxx part is smaller than most stand alone TJ Maxx locations. The location itself is conveniently located close to other great stores as well.

This is a TJ Maxx/HomeGoods combo. The TJ Maxx side is very nice and well stocked. However, the HomeGoods side is bare. I was very disappointed.
