In the past, Ive only gone to the Corporate Verizon stores in the area and always dreaded the long waits I was guaranteed to experience there. I was in the shopping center and decided to give the Verizon store in Huntsman Square a try, in hopes of a more positive and less time-consuming experience I would have run into on the phone with Verizon or at the "Corporate Store." I was due for a couple upgrades on my account and figured that as long as I didnt walk into someone with a tablet around their neck with a super fancy sign in and take a number that will only be considered if we are selling you something. My two recent stops there I encountered no wait (I have waited in some of the Springfield Corporate stores for over an hour at times) and was immediately helped by Abdul (the store manager) who was great. He was patient, informative, and friendly and took the time needed to address all my needs. He did not try to upsell me but instead gave objective information so I could make informed decisions. This is absolutely why, even though I left that day without making a decision and not sure if I wanted to wait for a shipping date I may not be around for, I left and had to go out of town for a while and decided that even though I could go online and order the phone I wanted to upgrade to, with the color and specs that were also rare and possibly at a corporate store, I refused and went back to Abdul @ The Wireless Center in Huntsman. Why? Customer Service 101- it goes a long way in my book and to make a sale rather than brushing off a customer with a question about their phone or plan, is great if you want to create an environment where you made that sale and lost 4 more as we all can see at any Corporate Verizon Store. Not the case with Abdul and his staff at this location! I had some issues with my phone and needed to return to the store the next day and once again had excellent customer service - and without any wait. Upon returning to the store, Abdul was once again on top of things and remembered the situation and we got things done and done right. He was very responsive, friendly, helpful, and reassuring. The other gentleman working, I do not remember his name, was awesome. Abdul went above and beyond to answer questions with thorough explanations, ascertain the source of all my issues, and rectify those issues (or at least the ones that werent inherent limitations of my phone). He stayed well after the end of his work day, calling other Wireless Center Locations in the area knowing that at the end of the day, I believe that Abdul and his fellow associate can be sure that all bases were covered and if not, a solution was provided. In my case, it is a dicey situation because I am picky and that is exactly why I choose to give him my business and was fully confident how the entire experience went in every aspect. Word of mouth is huge and it would be great if some of the Corporate Managers could come to this Authorized Retailer and take some notes on their super tablets. Abdul and his associate deserve an award for the patience and determination he demonstrated for the situation I was presenting and to them, it was nothing but another day at work making sure the customer is taken care of I would recommend the Huntsman Square Verizon - The Wireless Center store without hesitation and will most definitely return there in the future for any cell phone needs. Truly a breath of fresh air and my hat goes off to Abdul! If you live close or not, I can assure you that you will not regret in any way making a stop into the Wireless Center in Huntsman Square. I have been in this store twice and both times were awful. The first was a while ago. My husband asked the sales clerk which phone he recommended and he gave same lame answer that they were all good. He then proceeded to answer something about 4G LTE to every question we asked but did little to help us. Tonight we decided to pop in to take a quick look at a phone. We opened the door only to hear, "We just turned the system off!" at a shout. When I looked at my watch, I saw that it was about 7:52. I get it. Its Friday night, you want to leave. Just put the store hours as closing at 7:55 instead of having me think you are open until what the sign says on the door. However, I will never step foot in there again so it matters not to me.

I entered the store with the dread that comes with having a phone problem that no one else could solve. My friends, tech people, etc. were puzzled as to why I could not install Google Play on my phone. In stepped Kamran Ali, the store manager, with a smile and confidence that reflected his deep knowledge of the product and services. The solution wasnt easy, but Kamran embraced the challenge and after some trial and error, successfully solved what seemed at first to be unsolvable. His patience, good humor, and professional knowledge are certainly an asset. I highly recommend the Huntsman Square location for Verizon and of course, Kamran.

After 10 years as a loyal sprint customer, I was looking to finally go in and cash in my upgrade and adjust my phone bill that was way too high for one line. 2 stores and 4 boneheads later I was driving home and thought, "What if I just walk in to the verizon store by my house?" Best decision ever. These guys were most helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I got everything I was looking to find and left a very happy girl. Highly recommend. And Ill be cheesy too, MAKE THE SWITCH.

On Sunday evening Sept 18, 2016 she assisted me with a return of an item that I had purchased as a surprise birthday gift for my son. As a 76 year old man technological items are confusing to me and I often need to receive technical assistance. Her support left me with a very positive impression of the Huntsman Square store and its employees Bob Ward.

I went into Verizon to ask about a single line plan and I was helped by Abdul. He was very professional and gave me the best costumer service Ive had in a long time. One thing that stood out was that he was in a very uplifting mood and his charm was like no other. I told him I would come back in this week to get a single line plan. Very pleased with the service I was provided!

Verizon is a rip off. Customer service is poor. Getting answers on your account is difficult. Requested upgrade on existing phone, however, in store representative sets up new plan with insurance on a phone that does not exist. Time to switch companies. Overpriced, Poor Service. Confusing representative to trick you in to plan that services them not the consumer.

Customer service was phenomenal. The location could be the only thing it is lacking because of it being secluded and not in sight of the road. Large amount of selection for phones and cases which is awesome. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially people who actually want to be valued as a customer.
