Very impressed with customer service today (FELIX), so much so that I am leaving my feedback. My background is in customer service and hospitality, (restaurant/hotel/retail/sales mgmt). I went in for a plumbing problem, selected the items needed for repair. I went to get in line at the lumber side cashiers, the line was too long so I headed back towards the main checkout. Felix at the Pro desk asked if I was ready to check out and offered to help. I was parked at the lumber side so it was appreciated. As he was ringing me up I noted how costly the repair was going to be for a leaking spigot. Felix asked a few basic questions and made a few suggestions. He suggested trying Sharkbite, I am stuck in my ways and don`t like to learn new tricks. I know 100% that I would have success with what I selected, he mentioned his experience with and talked me into giving it a try. I agreed and he personally walked me back to plumbing and solicited the help of his associates in selecting the needed items. After picking up the items he rung me up and I was on my way. I went home and went to work, well Felix was right, he not only saved me a few bucks, but he also saved me a great deal of time. The repair only took 10 minutes, vs 45 or more the way I had planned. I trade off between HD and the other big store, I will lean orange even more as I tackle the next and never ending list of repairs on this old house. Thanks Felix.

Dont write a negative experience on the Home Depot community page, they reject it...lord hep you if you have a customer service issue. Dont trust a word they say regarding delivery. Give yourself an extra week, in order for them to change the date without telling you, then arriving late on the date they promised. Then expect a $3000 delivery to just be dropped in any empty spot in the yard. The managers are condescending and completely worthless for help. Why ask me what they should do, isnt that their job?! If you really need help, dont waste your time on the phone being put on hold by the clueless entry level customer service department for 30 min, just make the drive there so they can pretend to care about how many different ways they messed up. Thank you, Yvette for cancelling my delivery and not telling me, its not like I had to rearrange my job to stay home and wait for it. Lets not forget about the delivery driver who said the messed up deliveries are more common than satisfactory ones for them. Way to go Home Depot, youve made me a Lowes customer! Youre worthless for anything, other than a common household product that could be bought at Walmart cheaper for the same aggravating experience.

They gave me a quote over the phone for blinds then when I called back they gave me a different quote that had the price at $1,100 more and told me thats just how it is. Told me if I didnt have something in writing they were uninterested in discussing the original quote any further. Manager was condescending when I tried to explain to him that a quote is a quote and that it shouldnt be bouncing around. Manager didnt care and even accused me of asking for either the product or the install free (as in I was trying to scam HIM) when all I was trying to do is get my original quote honored and blinds insralled. Horrible service. Wont be going back and recommend you dont either except for maybe small fixed price items.

If I could give a negative star, I would. Ordered a storm door in Feb 2017 and needless to say they finally finished the installation in July 2017! After taking off work 12 times to have someone come out measure, fit , remeasure, refit, fix, etc... they finally got the door installed properly. It was the worst experience I have ever had and can say I will never shop at Home Depot again. Their subcontractors are 100% unrealible, the staff at Home Depot were very nice but only lipped service you and had no control over the subcontractors. The whole job was a complete mess and wish I just hired someone to come install the door. I would think real hard before hiring Home Depot to come install any door!

Ordered custom windows from this store and been told it is going to be 10 days. 3 weeks later called to check on status. They told me that track arriving next day and they will call me in day or so. Called them 3 days later and they told me to stop by next day and pick them up. I did and have been told that truck is not arriving till next week and they have no clue who said that windows are there already. Two weeks later finally they showed up. It took them 1.5 month instead of 10 days as they told me at time of ordering. What upset me the most is that they lied to me at least 2 times to keep me calm. Suggestion: order your windows somewhere else. Usually it takes no more than 2 weeks!

Went shopping last night and unfortunately had to use the restroom (hate public bathrooms) and when I say the bathroom was atrocious...its an understatement. Three out of the four stalls were filthy, to the point where they were unusable. Urine all over the seats, dirty feminine products and stool floating in the toilets. While I was waiting to use what I can assume was the only "clean" stall (since someone braved it) an employee came in. She looked in the first stall, moved on to the next and the next, which is when I voiced that the bathroom was in awful condition, her response to me was "just flush the toilet in the 3rd stall, itll be fine."

Used to be 5 stars but it has slipped a bit over the past year. Ive had 2 issues while shopping recently: 1. Trying to find help in the store is a bit of a challenge, unless it is someone who wants to sell you a HVAC system or water softener, or one of the "merchandising team" (Home Depot--heres a hint--if you dont expect them to help me, dont put them in a Home Depot shirt). 2. They wont price match...not even their own website. Please fix it...I really dont want to go back to Lowes. EDIT: As of September 2016 customer service continues to be a lost art. Home Depot on a whole is pretty good. This store, however, is not.

Five stars. Chelsea you are amazing. This young woman walked me through the steps of my painting project. She is very knowledgeable, confident, friendly.... a consummate professional. We were in this store on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The store was packed as one would expect. I previously did research online, and knew what I was there to buy. Having been in this store many times through the years as it is closest to my home, I must say I did not expect any level of what I consider good customer service. I had been accustom to self service. Well, I must say I was very pleasantly surprised at how Michael and Drew took care of me. Kudos guys, Home Depot good on ya. It makes a difference, really does.
