In todays world of commercialism, a down-to-earth specialty shop is a valuable asset to outdoorsmen. High Tech Outdoors is one such shop; and its owner, Bretch, is a true specialist. Supreme local knowledge keeps the walls stocked with the areas top-producing tackle, and Bretchs many years of experience as a bowsmith makes High Tech the intelligent choice for anyone purchasing a bow, having one tuned, or just picking up an accessory. As a teenager with a restrictive budget, I walked into the shop today with an out-of-tune bow and ill-suiting arrows. Bretch gave me the honest-to-God lowdown on what I needed and what I could do without, and I walked out with a finely-tuned weapon and the tools I needed to improve my accuracy. Hes a check station too, so this fall, following a successful morning in the woods, skip the online checking, and head into High Tech Outdoors to share your success and stock up for your next hunt.

I just bought the new Bowtech RPM 360!!!!!!!! WOW!! this bow is awesome, Brecht had this bow tuned up faster than any bow ive ever owned, hes by far the best in the buisiness..... this bow was so quiet,fast and zero shock at the shot, what a great experience for sure. High tech had all my accessories i needed and great advice to go along with it, I encourage anyone thinking of hunting,fishing or the outdoors to stop in and support his business, you will be glad you did. As for Bowtech ive had several different brands, advertisement has a way of making you feel you have the best product out there, after shooting these bows hands down supports commercials are sales pitchs only. Bowtech is the leader in innovations and technology and Brecht can explain all the differences for you as he did for me. thanks for setting me up and being so knowledgeble it is hard to find a great bow smith in this day and time.

Need anything for outdoors, hunting and fishing.....look no further. Brecht runs a top notch operation and is the most knowledgeable tech (bow, gun, rod,etc..) I have ever been around. He offers the most advanced bow tuning around which will instantly tighten groups for not only the amateur, but advanced shooters alike! This is also unlike your typical retail operation where the sale is the only concern as Brecht is very personable, gets to know his customers, offers unique and personalized service and will give you honest "real world" reviews on any equipment or theories you may have questions about. My bows will not be in a press at the hands of any other tech than Brecht Sprouse at High Tech Outdoors & Archery as I know without a doubt he will do a top notch job! Brecht Sprouse helped me build the bow of my dreams from the ground up. I went and bought a trophy ridge site for my new Bowtech Prodigy, the start of my problem, and he took the time to set everything up perfectly. I had issues with the site, that Brecht told me I would have with it by the way, and tried to take it to someone else to try and see if they could get the site to work with the bow. Long story short, my bow shot too fast for the site, yes, too fast for the site. Not only did Brecht Sprouse order me a site that has worked amazingly, but he also fixed what the other lesser bow technicians "fixed". Dont waste your time with other products or technicians, Brecht is the man and so are all of his products, point blank.

The owner Brecht Sprouse is the most knowledge bow smith in Central Virginia. I just purchased a 2014 Bowtech RPM 360 and it is the smoothest, fastest, most forgiving bow I have ever owned. Brecht bare shafted tuned and sighted it in his 20 yard indoor range. Brecht was polite and helped me with my shooting form and my groups instantly became tighter. Hightech Outdoors and Archery is the ONLY bow shop that I will go to. I would strongly recommend taking your new/old bow to Brecht for a tune up. I am pulling 29" inch draw, 70lbs, with 100 grain head - shooting 333 FPS, 90 foot pound kinetic energy.

Brecht is awesome. I walked into his shop with a bow I had purchased online and he took the time to sort me out, show me the different components of the bow and build an entire setup for me. He is a genuine guy that really enjoys the sport of archery and wants more people to get involved. I spent about an hour in the shop with Brecht going through a fitting and fine tuning my accuracy in his indoor range. He made me feel really good about choosing his shop for getting outfitted in the sport. I will definitely return to Brecht for all my archery needs and fishing needs as well.

I have been to many archery shops and have bow hunted for about 20 years. I know that the best asset is a pro who knows their gear to get your rig shooting perfectly-- owner Brecht is that guy. I finally stepped up and bought a nice Bowtech that he set up for me, tuned, and he even coached me through some issues in my form on the range. Of coarse, I have since had to go back a few times because I wreck arrows and bump things out of tune. He just gets my rig back to perfect on the spot and never charges a dime-- you cant buy better service!

I walked into the shop with a 40+ year old compound bow and Brecht knew exactly what it was immediately. He quickly got me set up with not just a new string slapped into place but a peep sight, kisser button, d-loop, string wax, and release. His help in sighting-in and using the release was invaluable! Im already shooting better and I just got started. My only regret is not finding this archery shop last week when I searched Google! :-/ (He also has a large fishing selection and other hunting accessories.)

I live in Va Beach and drive up to High Tech Outdoors for the incredible expertise and service. Brecht is the best bow smith professional I have ever had work on my equipment, and he has been the only bow dealer I have used for the last 15 years.I wouldnt let anyone else come near my bow. He also has extensive knowledge in guns and shooting, and has set up several accurate and reliable hunting firearms for me. Its worth the drive every time, and I would regret going anywhere else.

Brecht is awesome! He repaired my bow in a matter of minutes. Then took it a step further by taking me to his shooting range to correctly tune my bow properly and gave me good tips on my shooting form and my release. In which I could see a big difference immediately. This is a guy that really knows archery and takes pride in serving his customers. I was in and out of his shop within 20 mins. Went there to get started with archery target practise and I had the most amazing experience there. I was fitted with a recurve bow which is what I was looking for. I was given everything I needed to get started, given starting instructions and allowed to use the range to practise till I wanted. Ill be returning for some quite practise as well as suggest everyone to go there and give it a try.
