I used to really love this area, but the shopping options have severely declined in recent years. Major retailers have left and yet, rather than fill old spaces, developers have new buildings going up instead. Parking isnt bad if you know to go to the garage (pro tip), but beware driving the streets in between the shops. No one knows where theyre going, and Ive been almost hit several times by folks who just completely ignore the stop signs. You have to drive very defensively in there, or else you seriously risk damaging your vehicle. Hampton had a good thing, but its slipping out of its hands.

Hampton really tries to make this area nice and family friendly but it is ghetto - especially at night. People driving around like theyre in some type of emergency, parking lot is confusing and dirty, some stores are good while other stores should not occupy a slot in that type of area, people drive around with their music super loud making everything vibrate, and worst of all... If youre walking from store to store you might be asked for money by some random ghetto stranger about 4x. Potential to be great but demographics of the area are obstacles to true success.

Beautiful atmosphere, great stores, and good food. During a warm day you can find kids playing in the fountain, and at night everything looks beautiful lit up under decorative lights. Even if you dont feel like shopping, its nice just to take a stroll. Theres plenty of places to eat there, and the food is always good. There are bars, and a movie theater. Everyone is helpful and friendly everywhere you go. Great place to shop or spend your day.

Great outdoor shopping center. Its the only "mall" in Hampton but it has all the good stores. I only go to the Patrick Henry Mall in Newport News because its indoor and its easier to walk around from store to store. You have to cross busy streets at this shopping center. Theres always a ton of cars driving around. Its not family friendly. You wouldnt want to walk down a busy street with small kids.

This is a nice outdoor shopping center with a lot of variety from food to stores. There is not a big local presence though, as most of the places are chains. Renovations seem to be a mainstay as well so enjoying the whole experience is limited by that. Otherwise this site has a nice foot traffic during most days with the presence of office spaces for locals and colleges as well.

Parking is adequate, but I feel it is poor. You could end up driving car hop reparking. High prices, decent food outlets. Traffic is nerving. Becoming conjested. If your in the mood and the weather cooperates, it can be a nice walk. However, beware of winter time walks. A well operated and designed indoor mall with ample outdoor access such as a court would be better.

It seems like the Town Center is emptying out. Some of the larger retailers are jumping ship, and closing their locations in this center, which affects the selection. The location is fabulous! Close to everything, and there is a decent selection of restaurants and shopping. The gem is the weekend events, that are often kid friendly.

Peninsula Town Center is a pretty nice area, set up like an outdoor mall. The location isnt great when trying to get there from 64 East. You have to cross 4 or 5 lanes to make the turn. It offers a wide array of eateries and shops and its currently growing. Parking is good, however the loss of Macys takes a visual toll on the area.

I love going here! Its good for a nice day and shopping. There are two movie theatres: on in the middle of PTC and one across the street. There are so many stores to look at so you can fill every desire you came for. There are restaurants and bakeries, book stores, shoe stores, sports stores, and so much more!

Lots of great places all gathered together within walking distance. Doesnt matter if youre looking for food, shopping, or entertainment you can probably find something here, free parking is the icing on the cake, if you feed the meters here youre supporting charitable contributions, not the citys coffers.

Everything is great except Victoria Secret. Those employees are rude. Abuelos has a good happy hour. CineBistro is awsome. They give military discounts Sunday -Thursday and have the nicest bathrooms that you would ever want to use. I do miss the mall, but the town center is nice.

It is conveniently located with a good variety of shops. The site is clean. It can be cumbersome to navigate the streets depending on traffic. However, there is a garage on the north side of the complex. There is a considerable turn over rate in the smaller stores, unfortunately.

This is a great area to enjoy food, walk it off, shop it off and hey bring a pet and visit the pet store. There are a ton of great meetup spots to socialize and they even have an outdoor play area for the children. Just about everyone who needs or wants anything can find it here.

Lots of dining options. We went to Park Lane Tavern on St. Patricks day but it was too crowded. We walked three minutes to Bar Louie, which had good service at a reasonable price. Uber ride options out on a Friday night were numerous... Only had to wait five minutes for a pickup.

Love the outdoor mall feel with unique little shops mixed in with well known brand stores. And the restaurants are fantastic, the Cina-Bistro fantastic. They have great food and drinks, leather seating, a bowling ally, pool tables, darts and a great bar all in one place.

This place had great goals for an outdoor mall, yet they cant seem to keep businesses for very long. There is a sewage problem and it smells horrid some days. Very friendly employees at Barnes and Noble and a few other places but otherwise I avoid this area if I can.

Lovely place. Designed like a small town, shoppers walk outside from store to store, in the elements. The anchor store is JcPenney (bah humbug). A nice selection of eateries. Personally toting bags in the sun (or rain), doesnt interest me, but its a lovely concept.

Has something for everyone.... Absolutely love coming to Cinebistro for a movie and dinner. The staff is very friendly. Park Lane Tavern, Sweet Teas and Abuelos are a great stop for food. Plus you cant deny the abundance of shopping options available.

When you first go to this place the exterior looks very nice and glamorous but theres a strange sewage smell when you walk about the Town Center if you going to choose restaurant dont go to Sweet teas I would go to the Indian restaurant beside it.

Nice shopping center! Has clothes, food, nails, etc. Nice place to have a day out with friends and family- popular with Uber and Lyft. The only con is no skateboarding! :( allowed and kinda tricky to locate stores (Or maybe I just get lost easily)

Peninsula Town Center is an outside shopping area. There are many shops and restaurants. It can be hard to find parking so it is best to park in the Target parking lot or in the parking garage. There is security and police around for safety.

I really love visiting this area! Theres so much to do and see. Nice little work out with all the walking but its perfect after you enjoy a nice meal! Some retail therapy is good for a girls soul! Check out the play area too for the kidos!
