This is going to be such a positive review, I have to let you know that I am in NO way affiliated with the Drummonds or anyone who works there. I have no relationship with them other than being a very happy and satisfied customer. Those of you who follow my reviews on Trip Advisor, Airbnb, and local sites, know my reviews are unbiased and I tell it like it is. I can tell you, that you can have no better experience than giving your business to these people! Not only do they have a beautiful collection of jewelry, but they give you more than fair price for what you sell. Having said that, I was looking for a place to sell some old inherited jewelry. I knew going to a pawn shop would get me next to nothing, and sought out the nearest jeweler that bought gold and diamonds. Im so happy I did! We were warmly greeted in the store by John Drummond, owner and his assistant. I quickly noticed the Jewelers of America certification and asked for his qualifications (GIA-certified, a Master Jeweler and trained diamond grader. He also got points in my book being a NAVY Vet ;-) He was in no hurry but rather chatted with us discussing everything from family to fav. Netflix shows. He paid nice, appropriate (read "not creepy") attention to my 6 yo and got bonus points for her by giving her a lollipop from his goody jar (the best stores always have those, dont they?) . He also gave me a generous price for the jewelry I sold. He and his assistant were knowledgable, fair, courteous and professional...and you cant really ask for more than that from a business. We are customers for life now!

Drummonds Jewelers is my "go to" jeweler when it comes to jewelry repair. Ive had everything from chains shortened to rings sized and always been happy with the price and turn around time. John Drummond is especially helpful when it comes to making suggestions regarding jewelry modification. They have a small yet tasteful selection of jewelry available for purchase. Inevitably, I always find a new piece to buy when I visit! I have also traded in pieces I am no longer wearing. I feel I have always been treated fairly and been given a good trade in price. This jeweler far surpasses the big box stores in the area of customer service. I feel I have always received personalized attention. They strive to always get things right so even when Im not completely satisfied, they fix it without charging me anything extra. This is my only stop for jewelry repair these days.

After hearing great things about Drummonds, I was very disappointed with their customer service. After taking an item in for repair, I waited 2 and 1/2 months for it to be returned. After 1 month, I called and was told they were behind. After another 6 weeks without being contacted, I went in to the shop. There I was told that my item had been separated from the order tag and they were waiting for the customer to come in to claim it. When I received my item, my name was clearly written on the bag. With minimal effort, a connection with my name and my unique item could have been made. After 2 months of waiting and no effort to contact me, no apologies were offered. I will no longer be spending considerable money for poor customer service.

I have been a regular customer of Drummonds Jewelers for about 10 years and I can say that John Drummond is the best. In the 10 years I have shopped in his shop, I have had individualized items made to my preference, jewelry repair, had stones set in mountings, and purchased items in his shop. I love the shop as it has one of a kind items, the quality is excellent and I have always been given a reasonable and fair price. If you want the interesting ring or pendant or earrings, shop there. If you want to find what everyone else is buying from commercials they see on TV, well, there are plenty brand stores around. I prefer my jewelry to not look like everyone else. I would recommend Drummonds every time.

I took all my rings in to get sized and refurbished. Mr.Drummond gave me a discount for having so many! It took him no time to complete the task and all my rings came out looking brand new! I wished I had a before and after picture of them because the difference is unbelievable and makes me wish i would of done it sooner! Convenient LOCATION - Right next to Peninsula Town Center in the TALL EXECUTIVE TOWER building. Great parking - store is right there when you walk through the front door. Owner has soldered a silver necklace for me, replaced batteries in watches on-the-spot and even fixed a really broken bracelet. Traditional and unique jewelry in his store to browse through. Im taking my Not worn in a long-time jewelry to him next because he also BUYS jewelry! Worth The Trip!

If youre like me and hate going to those mall jewelry stores where there are salesmen who may not be as knowledgeable - then check out Drummonds Jewelers. John is very easy to talk to and is a jeweler and gemologist. The store is not very large, but he can custom make or order you anything that you can think of. Cleaning and replating done in house, typically even same day. Personal care and expertise - highly recommended.
