This is my favorite dog store in the area. My wife and I literally drive past three others to go to Pet Supplies Plus. Not only are the prices better that some of the other pet stores in the area, but Pet Supplies Plus selection of dog food and toy quality far exceeds the competition. There are four major reasons that keeps us coming back. 1.) Pet Supplies Plus has a wide array of food to choose from. Our Vizsla has a grain and chicken sensitivity. The staff was so knowledgeable recommended a brand of dog food that was perfect for her. It is limited ingredient and chicken free. The staff even remember her (the dog) when we come back into the store looking for limited ingredient treats! 2.) We had a great experience with the groomers at Pet Supplies, but we frequently use the self-service dog wash stations. Our Vizsla get pretty dirty after we bring her on the trails so we joined the “Dirty Dog Club,” which gives us a pretty big discount per visit. The station is equipped with shampoo (including a hypoallergenic), a sprayer with warm water, a blower, and as many towels as you could ever need. 3.) There is a vast variety of affordable toys that seem to last much longer than some of the generic ones sold by the competition. 4.) The staff/store always has promotions going on. I frequently get coupons in the mail that I can use in the store and the store hosts small promotional events that include scavenger hunts (when you find one of the items you could get a prize!) or gives out treats for while you are browsing the isles. This is honestly a great dog store where the store and the staff always have the best for your dogs in mind.

I"ve never had such a great experience at a pet store before! This was my first time at Pet Supplies Plus and I didnt know what to expect since Im accustomed to the traditional petsmart and petco stores. However, I needed k9 advantix II immediately and this store was only a mile from my familys house. I visited on a Sunday night. When I entered, two workers greeted me and asked me if they could help. I said no at first, wanting to browse as the store was bright and clean, with rows of supplies that looked interesting. When I got through one of the rows, Ryan, a visiting worker from the Falls Church location? assisted me with finding me the k9 advantix. I asked if the store price matches and to my surprise he said yes! I also received a free treat bag from a third employee for bringing my dog in! I spent a good hour here researching airline carriers for my small puppy and Ryan also assisted me with showcasing the other models and with any questions I had. I love that the store shows their carriers instead of having them packed away like most pet stores. This place is so informative and helpful for pet owners who want to feel the product before purchasing it in the box. I will definitely be back and plan to make all future purchases here when I am in town visiting family! I wish I had one in NC, but Ill let all my local friends know. I appreciate that the employees are all professional, friendly, and very informative. They seem very pleased with their jobs and happy to see animals come in.

On (12/3/12 at 5:15PM) I stopped by one your stores located at 5629 Stone Road, Centreville, VA. While I was there, I asked the manager on duty about a promotion that I saw on one of your fliers regarding a free dog toy with the purchase of dog food. She responded in a very condescending and rude manner saying that she needed the flier to send to corporate because "thats how coupons work" and walked away.Her comment made me feel stupid. I am very, very dissatisfied and disappointed with the poor customer service that I was given at this store. How is it that a store manager, who should be modeling exceptional customer service to the other employees, could treat a customer so contemptuously? This is the first time that I have ever written a complaint of any kind for any store, and I will no longer continue shopping at Pet Supplies Plus due to the substandard customer service that I experienced.

Bath very low pressure, on everything, hot water on wash, can not adjust, hardly any pressure, it was a good thing he had had a bath before we got there, truly wanted to clip him. Purchased clipper from them would not even go thur fur, will not let me return after purchasing clippers else where since they do not have any, to do the one thing that need to happen. Waste of time and money.

I have a service dog that cant be out of my sight and they were very willing to work with me. The groomer, Brian, had set it up so that I could stay in the waiting area while Ellie was getting trimmed. He did a fantastic job with the haircut and keeping Ellie calm. I highly recommend this group. They are friendly, helpful and willing to accommodate your needs!

I totally disagree with the negative reviews on grooming. We take both our dogs here every few months and have been very happy each time. Weve been going since they opened. Its definitely less money than going to the other places nearby, and Ive not been any less happy with the cut or grooming thats been done.

Brian is the greatest groomer ever. The staff remember us and seem genuinely happy to see us every time we walk through the door. We live closer to the one in Kingstowne but prefer to go out of the way to Fairfax because they rock. Super clean and knowledgeable staff.

Always extremely courteous staff! I love their clearance section. One thing though is they really need to update their member list. They never seem to be able to find my member number because I signed up in another state. Other than that, it is a great store.

Love this store and the employees. They are always super helpful and accommodating. They also support the Fairfax County Humane Society and other rescues which is close to my heart as a volunteer. AND they put out great coupons.

Took my best friend to be groomed, because the last time in January when I brought him in they did a very good job. Nicki the replacement for the old groomer botched the cut and cut my bud. She then lied about it. Will never go back.

I come here often for the dog wash. Its always kept clean and fully stocked. I also think the staff is super friendly and helpful. My dogs love the goodie bag of treats...a nice reward for a good bath session.

DO NOT THINK TO TAKE YOUR DOG HERE FOR THE GROOMING!!!!!!!!!! VERY POOR QUALITY & COSTUMER SERVICE!!!!!!!! THEY HAVE CHEAP PRICES BUT YOU GOT WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!!!
