I cant begin to explain how amazing this place is. Patrick & Debbie are two of the nicest people youll ever meet and are extremely knowledgeable on anything pet related. They have been open for almost 20 years now. Debbie does dog grooming on smaller dogs, and Patrick hand breeds & raises birds. Along with that he sells & does maintenence on RC planes, drones, and cars. They have a wide variety of small pets - freshwater fish, snakes, frogs, lizards, mice, hamsters, sometimes bunnies, and birds. The birds are top of the line. Ive purchased two now from them and I couldnt be happier. Patrick hand raises the babies so theyre all super friendly to people and extremely easy to handle. Along with this he weans them to Roudybush which is one of the healthiest foods they can ever eat. They sell pet food by the pound & by the bag so you have lots of options. For the reptile people they sell crickets, meal worms, mice, rats, and goldfish. You can get frozen mice & pinkies as well. Ive been coming to this pet store since as long as I can remember. Even when I lived in Colonial Heights and Richmond I would still drive all the way to Pet World for their wonderful customer service. If youre looking for something and they dont have it in stock they can usually order it and have it there within two weeks. Along with this they actually offer competitive prices to mainstream pet stores, like Petco and Petsmart, and often times can beat their pricing. I highly recommend going here. I will always shop here.

I dont know his name, but the gentleman Im assuming is an owner is awesome. I didnt go there for anything pet related, I went there to get myself a drone. He is 100% interested in making sure I leave with what is right for ME, not just to up-sell me to make extra. I brought my hexagon drone there to ask for help flying it. It always flew to the side. He showed me how to "trim" the drone and I couldnt be happier. My next step up to a more expensive one will definitely come from PetWorld.

Love this place. The owner and his wife were so friendly. I walked in and felt at home. They are very knowledgeable and gave wonderful advice. I can my bird "Lucy " for almost a year and wasnt able to really handle her. After Mr. Patrick took her out she didnt seem so ify any longer. Brought her home and was able to play with her out of the cage. Thank you.
