GARDEN CENTER ONLY - The absolute worst customer service I have ever received, on two occasions. While trying to find a lawn tractor belt I asked an associate if they had any in the back since the box on the shelf was empty, he left and came back and started to help another customer. I had to prompt him to tell me that there werent any in the back. When I asked if any other sears had them he told me where the two other Sears were. At this point I left rather than ask him to look in the system because he was off helping another customer again (I guess if youre working on commission there is no point in helping a customer that cant but anything at your store!). When I went back today to return the same belt I drove all over town to find because it wasnt the right one, despite being the right part number, I was given the run around. I didnt have my receipt because I used my "sears club" card to buy the item but they werent able to find the receipt in the system. Without going into all of the details the bottom line is they did NOTHING to try to remedy the situation. At this point the manager was standing behind the counter as well. When I asked him why they were being the opposite of helpful he accused me of yelling and throwing parts all over the counter and creating a hostile situation. We had words at which point I asked to speak to his manager and he proceeded to tell me he was the manager of the store. I got his name (Jeffrey Singleton) and called the corporate customer service desk. Guess whos NOT the store manager. So you can add lying to customers to my list of complaints from the Greenbrier Sears Lawn and Garden center!!! Save your time and go to another Sears because the shelves were bare here and the associates were unprofessional and not helpful.

Higher management is unprofessional. Heard them talking to one manager saying that they cannot hang out with an associate or they would be fired. Im sorry but what that one manager said was unprofessional and I find it a little offensive. Im sorry but in order to have a great company all employees must respect one another. And to have let a customer see and hear is very bad.

Sears has changed for the worse. Used to have great return policy. Now its 30 days with no room for any understanding on their part. Had a brand new mower blade in packaging with receipt. 34 days since purchase. Refused refund or exchange even though the blade label states it would work but was incorrect. They refused to seek any solution. I will never shop Sears again.

Dont ever come to any Sears, EVER!!!! They are the worst in every way when it comes to appliances and their warranty and return policy. I have never dealt with so many problems from just about every aspect of this business. Go anywhere but them, there is a reason they are going out business and thats because of their dealings with people

I applied for a job at Sears. Was filling in online application and it asked for my social security. At that stage it said there was some problem and I needed to call HR. Called HR but they were unable resolve issue. I guess they were not interested in hiring a US Navy veteran such as myself.

If I could have given no stars and still wrote a review I would have. This is terrible customer service at its finest. Dont expect your product to deliever anywhere close to the date they tell you either. I will never again shop at Sears.
