It used to be a place for some good deals (and still is sometimes but now you imagine by accident or pragmatism). I guess there was a change of management and the prices can be a bit silly now - they even sell some newer donated items telling you the shop price with a percentage knocked off. Seriously? For all intents and purposes it is second hand and half price is pushing it. Still worth a browse once in a while but its clear someone is looking to improve their profit margins by lots. Guys (and gals) working in the back are friendly. Desk workers dont seem to be having much fun, as if theyve just been told off, which makes it seem a bit prim, and that is odd for somewhere that uses volunteers. Good place for second hand building materials like doors and windows which is a rare thing. Basement for writing desks and chairs, kitchen cupboards etc. is also handy though often of Craigslist quality. Not necessarily the place to get your centerpiece but useful for shed projects.

All in all - waaaayyyy overpriced junk. And I dont mean antiques...I mean junk, like the leftovers from a bad yard sale that no one would take for free. The things that were in decent shape were so ridiculously expensive that you could buy new items of better quality for a better price. Very, very disappointed in the habitat store. When they first opened they were a great place to find all kinds of stuff for reasonable prices, now its like they forgot everything they have was donated to begin with.

Really excellent and low priced selections. Im remodeling my house and the habitat store has saved me a lot of expense. They even sell painting supplies and some construction materials. Ill be going back to purchase flooring, a sink, light fixtures... Check them out. Theyre great.

A good place to check every now and then for deals on home improvement items. The prices vary from great deals, to over priced. If you have a small project around your house, definitely check here first for supplies.

There stuff is in good shape and interesting, but even though the money goes to a great cause, the prices here are really high, even compared to other Habitat stores. This means a lot of stuff sits around forever.
