WARNING: Stay away from this practice!!! Dr. Leonardo Lee is a narcissistic, egotistical, self-centered dentist. He orchestrates directives to his staff, especially Meg and Vanessa, and does not personally maintain communication with his clients. His work resulted in an oral nerve damage. He attempted to fix the damage in three follow up visits that were all initiated by me. It still has not been fixed and when I requested a copy of my records he denied them stating that I had to pay the balance in full before the records could be released. Who would really pay for a service when more damage was done than correction. I researched the Virginia Board of Dentistry regulations and saw that it was an ethical violation that he was withholding my records due to outstanding financial matters. When I brought this to his attention he quickly released the records and then had the audacity to demand full payment. He then issued numerous threats to remit payment within 24 hours or else he would increase the balance by 5 times the amount owing and turn it over to a collections agency. Dr. Lee, Meg, & Vanessa all willfully and knowingly demanded payment while I was still in discomfort from his work. Further exacerbating this situation is that while he was doing the last procedure he got very angry when I asked for an explanation as to why the nerve damage occurred he did not immediately answer instead he looked at my 4 year old daughter who was sitting very quietly watching videos on the phone and he proceeded to issue a verbal reprimand that she better turn down the volume on the phone!!! Needless to say my daughter and I were in shock that he would speak in this tone and who does he think he is to be issuing verbal reprimands to my daughter. When he was making money off of working with my child he was very nice towards her. DR. LEONARDO LEE LiCENSE should be revoked he is a grossly UNETHICAL and NEGLIGENT dentist. Classic narcissist woes you in and offers alot of perks as a new client but when he does not get his way those tables turn. Do not let the language on his website fool you. They lack patient education and professional practice. He is a MONEY HUNGRY dentist who is friendly when he can make money off you and your kids. KEEP YOURSELF and YOUR FAMILY AWAY FROM A WINK & A SMILE. You have been warned!

My family and I had been longtime patients of Dr. Lees - even referring numerous other patients to his office. However, we will not ever be returning. At our last appointment, he tried bullying me into getting a seemingly unnecessary x-ray for my daughter - telling me he couldnt perform the cleaning unless she had the x-ray (it had only been about a year since her last x-ray and he hadnt even opened her mouth). I had merely asked that I be given the opportunity to research x-rays further. He "compromised" by letting us wait every 18 months but lied to me and told me that the board would take his license away if he didnt perform an x-ray every 12 months. In the past, the front office staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They didnt say a peep to us as we checked out that day. Going so far as not even having my daughter pick anything out of the prize box. All respect has been lost for Dr. Lee and his office.

I had an awesome experience at A Wink & A Smile. Lets start off by saying this office is extremely clean and neat, their staff is friendly and very helpful. As soon as you walk in you are greeted making you feel welcomed. Karmen, Vanessa and Meg at the front desk are AWESOME!!!!!!!! They help you pick the best glasses for you, instead of getting over whelmed with all the selections they have. They take their time with you and arent in a rush and get to know you as an individual. The personal touch makes you feel more then just a patient or a number. I strongly recommend A Wink & A Smile!!!! Thank You Karmen, Vanessa and Meg for the awesome experience I will definitely will be coming back.

Admittedly, I was incredibly apprehensive about going to the dentist after having been away from one for way too long, but my mother insisted that these guys were the best. Surprise! Shes always right...but she could not have been more right. From my first visit, and every second thereafter, I have been put at ease and treated with sincere respect and kindness. Im beyond grateful. My teeth look and feel great! The Dr. Lees and every member of the staff are incredible and this business runs like a well-oiled, friendly machine.

I LOVE this place! I was looking for a new eye doctor because Ive always gone to just the local pop up popular eye locations. I came across this place, made an appointment, and fell in love with Dr.Lucy! Not only did I fall for the doctor, I even fell for the front staff! You cant find better customer service/care. I took my then 6 year old for his first eye appointment and dentist appointment, was blown away! We go here for our winks and smiles!!

Love the staff here! They are so friendly and accommodating especially when you are a grown adult and have a major fear of the dentist! I used to skip 2 years at a time going to the dentist and when I started going here they really listened and made it a better experience with their tips and advice for getting through each visit. Its very low turn over there also, so you always see familiar faces which is nice!

Always an amazing experience at a wink and a smile. Staff is so friendly and professional. My hygienist is thorough, personable, and always takes time to discuss any issues or concerns. There is never any pressure to take a service and staff are very comprehensive with plan options if one is necessary. Ive moved around the DMV since meeting Dr. Lee but I always return to this practice regarless of my location.

I am not, and have never been, a fan of going to the dentist. From the moment you walk in the door, however, you actually enjoy visiting this bunch. On my last visit, to get me ready for a crown, I actually fell asleep in the chair (and not from drugs!) I sincerely appreciate the time the staff and dental hygiene staff take to make me comfortable, and I appreciate the care Dr. Lee demonstrates. Were fans!!

Highly recommend Dr. Lee and ALL Staff!!!! Vanessa and Meg are fabulous and do their best to work with you on appointments and insurance. All the hygienists are so kind and do a fantastic job with cleanings! Dr.Lee has been outstanding!! He corrected a some bad work from a previous dentist and provides detailed information. Would go no where else but Wink and a Smile!

I have been going to this place for over 10 years and love that I can schedule my eye and dentist appointment around the same time on the same day! Saved multiple trips and paperwork! Both doctors are lovely, welcoming and treat you like you are a part of the family. There is no pressure and they are great with helping you through your fears of doctors.
