Two issues - (1) Things go bad before the printed expiry date. (2) At the counter if you dont keep a close eye a lot of time they charge more than whats marked on the shelves. Unfortunately at this store you always have to keep a "very close eye" on prices at the counter. I have been shopping there for years now, this is the closest grocery store so even though over the years their prices have gone up and I have had issues where milk will go bad 1 week before the expiry date (and we dont keep the milk out of fridge more than seconds when we pour it in the bowl or cup) it happened more times that I can count!! Recently even their close slaw mix went bad before expiry date. They use a wrong price (higher than listed) on random items if you dont keep a close eye. Ive caught it 4 times and corrected it ($9 instead of $3, $5 instead of $2 etc.) but I am sure there were times when I didnt know or notice and I got charged more than what I should have. I havent completely stopped shopping there because of the location proximity but I definitely do prefer the other stores now that are around now and my trips to Global foods for everything has been reduced now" because of these reasons.

Pros: No need to drive to GrandMart to get fresh tropical veggies, fish.. Lotsa samples e.g. fresh pan fried dumplings, sauces, rice and green nori. My take on Indian food available here: I did not really check the entire store but still saw all this.. 1. Saw karela, okra, methi leaves, curry leaves, Chinese okra, and more… 2. Saw a myriad of parathas, naan that I haven’t seen at any Indian grocery store in this area 3. Got all types of Haldiram munchies, all types of Parle-G, Good day cookies, mango pulp… 4. They stock Nanak paneer, pedhas, desi dahi aka yogurt 5. Got fresh fish which was washed and cut perfectly like I wanted it to be. 6. Happy employees Hope this place stays this way!

This store is an absolute disgrace and a complete health hazard!! I am shocked it has not been shut down yet and is still operational. Incredibly poor hygiene and items not refrigerated correctly. The Ben&Jerrys ice cream we got there was moldy and has turned sour - it has clearly been through multiple freeze and thaw cycles. The gallon of milk we got there turned sour a week(!!) before its expiration date. Frozen dessert was also moldy and soaked through. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! As an icing on the cake, items are overpriced and staff is rude and unhelpful. I AM SHOCKED THAT THIS STORE IS LEGALLY ABLE TO CONTINUE OPERATING IN THE UNITED STATES IN 2016! Disgrace.

My international store of choice. Fresh produce looks fresh and is in tons better shape than the local chains such as HT, Safeway, Food Lion, and Giant. Great selection of asian sauces and noodles. Cant say how it fares for other offerings as I go in for Asian style foods. Has a fish market in the back with a wide selection of fish.

1. I would not give 5 star because of cleanliness and hygiene at store 2. They have good options in Indian grain and food products 3. Prices are in competition and 2 to 10 cent difference 4. Wrong timing given in google map 5. Staff at store is rude 6. Ambience of the store is very poor compare to other stores

I love the variety of this place. They have really worked hard revamping the place the past year. My husband says its too dirty but it has the best produce in the area! I can find some rare items here at fantastic prices. Shop here weekly!

This place is amazing for produce. If you need fresh parsley, cilantro, dill: their prices and quality cant be beat. They also have a lot if great Indian breads, teas, and urged inferential foods (too many to list).

Worst costumer service! In order to give you a refund because of the cashiers mistake, they have to review the camera first!!! They do have fresh vegetables, I only wish they would hire costumer oriented employees.

Cleaner than lotte and you can get all the desi things for a competitive price. Best place to buy basmati rice. More variety than anyone else in the area.
