I have been going to Giant as a Rockville resident in Maryland as long as I can remember, and to the point even some workers know me as I frequent it so much. However, today, I notice something different. A female security or a pig standing at the self checkout line and another 2 females behind the counter chit-chatting away. Are they suppose to be working? I pay for my salad and it comes to about $7+, and I look around to throw away my receipt. I go around to the next line and throw it away and leave. As I am going to car,(outside now) a black female from the counter accuses me of not paying. I had to dig through trash to prove it that I did. My question is, what are these two females doing? I pay, grab that long piece of receipt, and throw it away in trash to another aisle and while they are standing 2 feet away cant see that I have the receipt in my hand. Obviously, they arent doing their job so why is Giant paying them? The security needs to be fired along with those females, unless that happens, I am done with this Giant. I will be calling corporate.

My wife and I shop at this Giant frequently because we live in the neighborhood. Weve never had any problems coming here (occasional wrong pricetags, or not a good selection of fresh meat..We mostly come here because its convenient), except TONIGHT. We got in line and ended up with a pretty rude cashier. It was strange because she was super friendly to the other two customers in front of us but as soon as we approached her, her face looked angry, she didnt say hi after we said hello, or even tell us the total of our shopping trip. My wife asked her two questions nicely and was blatantly ignored. Cant help but wonder if it was a race issues, but I hope not because this area is so diverse. Tried to call Management to see what is up and was on hold for 29 mins. Lets just say, we will not shop there anymore.

Terrible Giant and I normally love Giant. Stock poor - Veg and fruit - keep too long - minimal in choices. They need to go get some help from the Franklin Farm Giant. Gee even the Herndon store near the Toll Road is better then they are. Please improve this store soon!! HT is getting all the business and Wegmans too.

I visted this store frequentely the last few years. Extremely clean, good cust.ser. especially the salad bar every day they serving with fresh cut fruits and salad.and very clean.l love it.

Its a clean, wide open store...produce is decent, and selection is good. Nothing outstanding, but a solid, well managed store with good prices.

Its a giant like any other, but I have rarely seen it busy so checkout is pretty fast all the time.
