Very poor customer service. Well the fruits and vegetable are mostly rotten. Sometimes have fungus. If you try to return they wont return it. The quality of their products is very substandard. Their customer service is very poor. If you loose your receipt and cant find it they wont let you return it even if you bought it the same day and have not opened the packing. They wont even let you exchange for other products. When we tried to return an Item they were very rude even though I was a regular customer for years but they didnt care. We didnt even open the packing. I guess they got so many customers putting up with their rotten and moldy fruits and vegetables. I bough onions and most of the time they are moldy. The potatoes are always black from inside. Apples are rotten. Most of the products are moldy and expired. I would suggest to steer clear of this store. Any grocery store would be better than what they sell. The store is also violating several health and safety code. It is very dirty too.You are better shopping elsewhere.

be careful of some tricks they may do to take advantages from you when measuring the goods. I noticed that when they measure the goods, they sometimes put a hand on it or even press them slightly. This may add an extra 0.5 lb but hard to notice. And then recently I got a more convincing evident. I bought one potato and two green bell peppers. The saleslady first measure the two green bell peppers, which is around 1 lb, which is ok. Then she moved aside one pepper, put the potato on, then get the weight for the potato as 1.6 lb(which actually measures one potato and one pepper and may be one hand, lol). Of course I caught it, and the remeasure only for the potato is 0.6 lb. May be it is just a mistake and she did not intend to do so. But we need to keep an eye when we check out. The couple tens of cents from each customer can add up to thousands per day for the store.

Too much crowd, specially on weekend second half of the day. Mostly south asian crowd and youll see typical parking spot chasings, the swift movements inside the shop. Management is trying well to keep it clean and organized but too much crowd to handle. youll get all indian, chinese and all south asian stuff. Not good high quality but low prices stuff is what youll get here. Inside its like another mall, youve bakery, sweet shop, barber shop, restaurant.. .and so many other....Ive never visited on weekdays hope its a good experience on weekdays.

Everything is good except the produce. Ive had seriously bad produce from this place. Slimy kimchi, a watermelon that disintegrated on my counter the day after I bought it, and I kept going back thinking it was a fluke. Its not. The produce is awful. The prices on the prepackaged stuff cant be beat though- I got refried beans here that were fantastic, and their frozen selection is great. Their Indian selection of snacks is absolutely amazing and their flours, noodles, and ingredients are really great.

cheap for asian not cheap for american same goes as if you were shopping at harris teeter..there are times when i could care less for quality customer service and i like bargain and exotic produce. Its not the cleanest and tends to be overcrowded but been to worse and been too other lottes that are far more cleaner and better, but than as long as i walk out not feeling like i paid an arm and leg im alrite..:)

The lady in the express lane , extremely rude. Didnot bother to count the items and shouted . Moreover at the time of checkout too first time the card failed and she threw receipt at me saying it didnot go through. SEcond time it did. The manager too supported her as my items were 11 instead of 10 only. Very bad customer service. Very bad !! Need to give more training and RESPECT !!

Agreed that the fruits and vegetables variety that you get here is great. But I found the price of cereals and general household items like Tide, abominably priced (way beyond their normal prices). For eg, I got a Tide, 78 load - 150 fl oz - plus bleach alternative for $32.00 (which is regularly priced at $22.00 elsewhere). So please be very careful in what you buy from there.

Variety of Asian Products including good Fruits, Vegetables and Meats. I am very happy to have a store near to my residence. But when we visited the restroom one time which reversed my opinion about the cleanliness. Too dirty.... HELLO CHANTILLY LOTTE OWNERS, PLEASE MAINTAIN THE CLEANLINESS OF THE STORE ESPECIALLY THE TOILETS, WHICH SHOWS HOW GOOD THE STORE IS.....

Ive been to many Lotte (Assi) Plaza locations, this was probably the least appealing and most grimy, run down of all their stores. Prices were okay, limited selection of Korean and Japanese food and beverages. They do stock the usual rice snacks and Makgeolli, but not the more esoteric foods and spices that the other big Asian market chain has.

So I grew up in the era of the fried chicken renaissance in Korea. OMC makes the chicken just like the chicken I had when I was little. I quit going to Bonchon and BBQ. I still do occasional Popeyes, but only with coupons. Im going to pick some up tonight for the kids, for they cant get enough of this amazingness. You wont be disappointed.

The produce selection is fresh, abundant, and cheap. Highly recommended. There are tons of international foods and spices, all of which are at decent prices. But seriously - the produce is dirt cheap compared to pretty much anywhere else in the area. It can get quite hectic on weekends, but lines typically move fairly quickly.

Biggest variety of produce anywhere around. Incredible value. The only place around that beats the quality of the produce is Whole Foods, but Lotte Plaza is still less expensive than places like Safeway, Giant, Harris Teeter, etc. Lotte Plaza is particularly great if youre going to cook South Asian or East Asian food.

Free samples on the weekends! Tons of little Korean ladies post up and yell out Korean for samples. Tons of fresh fruits and veggies. Store is divided up into ethnicity sections: Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Mexican, etc. Lot of tiny shoppes encompassing the main part of the store. Plenty of parking outside.

Huge selection of any herb or spice you can think of. I love their pockless pitas. If you like international food this is your one stop shop for good quality, authentic snacks and treats for decent prices. And if you love exotic fruits like I do, then youll be fascinated with their produce department!

Lotte Plaza is a large international supermarket - but everything is crumpled up together and smushed right against each other; fruits, veggies, nuts, etc. - To my nose as well, it does not smell very good around the store inside.

Best selction of Asian food products (Chinese, Thai, Vietamese, Indian) you name it! They have individual food stalls as well. Sushi is so fresh, you can buy a tray and eat it while you shop. Veggie selection is fantastic.

This is a pretty solid asian market. You can get things here that you cannot get in other supermarket settings. My wife is from Mongolia, and I cook a wide variety of foods, and we both are happy to have this place nearby.
