TLDR: Paid triple what was quoted on the phone. Appointment not honored. Dont waste your time here. Great work (1 day out) but was lied to and ripped off by the time I left. Went in for a trailer hitch installation after calling ahead ($50 quoted on the phone beat others who quoted $100). Went in after scheduling an appointment online, as the guy requested I do when I called. Come in on time during rush hour, initially they think they cant honor the appointment. If thats the case they need to call ahead of time and reschedule, not tell me after 25 min of waiting in traffic. They request I wait to see if a mechanic gets free, one does 15 min later, he starts the work. 15 min later I get called in as they want to escalate the price to $100 because cutting the frame to bolt the thing in is required. I agree since they already have everything in place, and work would be required to get it all undone. 45 min later I come back and the total is $165!! Apparently, the $50 quoted on the phone was simply the flat fee for doing any trailer hitch installation, not including labor costs and site fees. This was not communicated on the phone AT ALL, and I would have used that information to take my business elsewhere for a better total cost. Doing quality work isnt worthwhile if dishonesty is involved in roping in customers. You have permanently lost my future business.

I have been to many Pep Boys locations but last night this became my fave location. I had made an appointment to change by tires as this was needed in order to pass my VA State Inspection at a different location, only to arrive to that location and have them tell me that they did not have the size I needed, this was 7pm last night. SO like most people I have a crazy schedule and was running out of time. As every one knows The validity period of a rejection sticker shall be 15 days, in addition to the day of inspection before you get summons. I called around and found this location they were kind to take me in on the same day at 7:40pm without an appointment to do me a favor in changing my tiers due to the situation. That was just great when we arrived Steven I believe that was his name was very nice and friendly and right away assisted me with my issue. As I was wrapping up with my set up another lady came in and they also assisted her as well. I guess we both got lucky that night I was out of there in a timely manner. I will be forever grateful with Steven and Seth I believe was the mechanics name who helped us out. I know this is a BZ and CRAZY stream but they took the time to care and help out. Thanks.

These guys are a bunch of crooks. I took my car in after they worked on my brakes a year ago. Charged me 600+ dollars then for what turned out to be nothing. I was on 495 and my brakes went totally out. I took it back to get them pretenders to stand behind their work and they charge me 1500.00 saying it wasnt relevant and another brake pipe broke. So I let them order the parts, 6 piece kit to replace the brake line. I know if they tried this with me, they are doing this everyday. They lie and say they are installing parts and end of stealing your parts and doing nothing or tampering with it because you complained about it. I caught them red handed. I will never use or recommend Pep Boys Annandale for NOTHING. They installed 2 parts on my brakes out of the 6 pieces and wanted 1500.00. Tried to keep the parts which they kept one piece of the 6, gave me back 3 pieces after I wouldnt leave without the parts I paid for. Thats robbery!! They got one star because the rating systems wont let you give a Zero star, which they truly deserve. Beware, do not go to this place for nothing. Starting with the sales guys and the mechanic, they are a bunch of lying crooks.

I not only received horrible service, but they tried to rip me off and over charge me for things that I did not need. They tried to say that I needed new sparks plug, which if you buy them yourself cost $30 and also that I needed my fuel injector cleaned, which a bottle of cleaner costs $2. Total is $32. Pep boys tried to charge me $220 to "fix" it. I got my battery changed because it had died and they replaced it, which was the ONLY thing helpful. I go to drive out of my parking spot and find that my steering wheel is stiff and barely moves. I ask someone for help and he comes out to look under the hood and say he doesnt know where the gauge is for steering fluid and walks back inside, leaving me stranded in their parking lot. I call for some real help and find that the fuse mysteriously blew, after they had been replaced the night before. Had to buy new fuses with no help from anyone at Pep Boys. They should be put out of business, too many people have been ripped off and taken advantage of. If I didnt have a guy to tell me what was really wrong with my car and fix it, I would have spent of $470 dollars for the to "FIX" my car. UNBELIEVABLE.

I took my mercedes benz w204 to them for alignment after getting new tires And i got appointment online and reached there And warmly greeted by sales associate,they are the only best people over there,only they know how to do buisness ,but technicians (wheel alignment only ,coz i have to do just wheel alignment cannot say about others)over there The guy did wheel alignment he printed out final track result finished paying and hand over the printed result to me I am fond of traveling on highways So next day when i was traveling on highway i noticed my steering wheel is off dead centre but car track was straight after reaching my destination i checked my printed result i noticed that they performed alignment as per w203 chassis and also they did not noted vin number for factory spec for wheel alignment Which means they did wrong adjustments of my tie rod ends Because my car is w204 They did as per w203 as written in result page I am never going to this place again Even never going to pep boys And i will not recommend anyone to take your euro car to them

Had made an appointment online for purchasing 4 new tires which I had already selected and supposedly it was in their system a week before the scheduled time. Got there on time. Initially I was told the wait would be 2 hours with alignment. After one hour the service guy tells me we have only one tire and the other three are wrong!we have to go and get the other tires from another shop! Really dont u check your inventory in advance. If they had not taken the tires out. (At least check and be prepared when you are about to fix and repair a car! )I would have cancelled the order. Then after 3 hours when finally its done and I am driving I feel the tires are not alligned! Obviously there are in such a rush they dont pay attention what they are doing. Believe me paying few extra dollors its much worth to go to a authorized dealership which I always do for my car other needs. I should have done it for replacing my tires. You learn from your mistakes! At least dont waste your time in this shop beside your money.
