We wait 1 month for a couple of chairs. when the chairs arrived we realized that they come without screw !!!! Now we are waiting for the screw ( two more weeks). Esperamos un mes por un par de sillas, cuando llegaron nos dimos cuenta que no enviaron los tornillos para armar las sillas. Ahora estamos aún esperando por los tornillos (llevamos dos semanas esperándolos)

I had a phenomenal experience here. Acknowledged as soon as I walked in and felt like I was in a mid century modern paradise. And they have everything - especially my beloved Saarinen (sp) tulip table, in every flavor wood, marble, fiberglass, in round and oval. Also tons of the Starck(ish) ghost chairs. And lets not it get into the light fixtures - some of the same pieces I bought online for triple price are showcased. Abe (not sure if he is sales guy or owner) cut me some great deals and they even delivered same day on NYE.

Spent hours looking and waiting for an outdoor sectional all for nothing. Finally excited and happy that we found one and the sales associate agreed to a price we offered. Then another associate put it altogether and after that, the price was totally different. Dont let associates that dont have the authority, to close a sale with a final price. All in all, its a very unprofessional place, youll have better luck, organization, and professonalism at a swap meet or yardsale.

Ambiguous selection options for some wall panels. Im not sure what they mean by "easy returns " because we had to pay shipping to return AND also the shipping TO us in order to return. Several weeks after the return was sent they had still not reimbursed us. Some technical problem but they never called us about it. They were apparently just gonna let it go. We called and they promised to send a check. Its been several weeks again. Nothing. These people suck.

We had great shopping experiences with Modern Contempo Furniture store at Alexandria, VA. The store has a good rotating collection of modern and born again mid century modern furniture. Staff have been very patient and helpful. The prices are great!! You are likely to feel satisfied after the shopping experience. A big plus is the store is just off the beltway!!

I love this place!!! I just moved to Alexandria, VA 5 minutes away from where they are located! Im redecorating and furnishing my home in all white! I love modern contempo because they have those rare abstract pieces that are hard to find! Amazing quality! I go back every week seeing what new items they have! Im never disappointed! Modern Contempo is the most unique furniture store I have ever been to. Im so glad theyre located in Columbia, just a short drive from where I live. I purchased a dining table from them - their customer service representatives were very friendly and helped me with everything I needed, and the table is perfect for my house. This place is an absolute gem. So many hidden treasures and they work with you to meet your needs. Bought a glass computer desk and computer chair and absolutely love the look, quality and service. The young lady that helped us at the front desk Char and the floor guy Stan are very knowledgeable and professional. I will be back!!!!

Purchase online in this store has been a nightmare. I bought two chairs. First of all, I received the chairs 3 weeks after the purchase and they sent it without the screws... I had to wait other 3 weeks for the screws, the worst part is, I just received the screws for one chair... Im still waiting for using both chairs
