You cannot beat this store. It is a plain, no-frills store. There are not too many brand names. The store brands they have are quality and inexpensive. The produce has nowhere near as much bruising as some other stores. The store is clean and well maintained. The lines at the cash register move quickly. You have to deposit a quarter to use a shopping cart, but you get it back when you turn it in. The carts are sturdier than at other grocery stores, and you never get a cart with a stuck wheel. Since you have to deposit a quarter, you do not see shopping carts all over the neighborhood like at other stores. The least expensive store actually has the nicest carts. Go figure. They do not bag your groceries. They sell inexpensive resusable bags, or you can use the boxes that are available to use. There are interesting German brands of beer, chocolate, bread, and some other things. The weekly special buys are always pretty interesting. Ive scored some good camping and outdoor gear from these special buys. They do not take credit cards. They only take debit, cash, and EBT (food stamps). If you buy groceries for one person for a week, you will easily save $20 over Safeway, and more if you buy for more family members. The Safeway near my house has dirty milk refrigerators and never has enough registers open, and its been that way for years. It is worth driving a couple miles out of your way to go here. The staff is friendly. Overall, this store is the best bang for your buck.

I still dont understand why more people dont shop at Aldi, their prices consistently beat even Costco, and their produce is very good. Recently they began accepting major credit cards as well as cash, which streamlines the process even further. You do have to bag your own groceries, and you still need to bring your own bags with you, but it is a small annoyance compared to the quality and price of the products. Also recently, they have removed artificial food coloring from their store brands. This is fabulous news, especially when it comes to childrens breakfast cereals or fruit snacks. Personally, Aldi is my go-to store for quality and price in the Route 1 corridor, it beats Safeway and even Costco by a mile.

This place is a great secret. I dont mind off brands if they are comperable. The price is pretty good. A coworker recommend it and she was correct. I found a lot of items that are just as food as the name brand. There are three things she forgot to tell me: bring your on shopping bags, have a quarter for shopping cart rental and be prepared to bag your groceries away from the checkout after you pay. After you put your food in your car take the cart back and when you re-connect it to the previous cart you can pull your quarter back out.

Most disturbing food store in the chain of Aldis I have ever encountered. Always out of stock on something, not organized and the produce is disgusting and meats leave much to be desired. Hate shopping there and try to avoid as much as possible. Only good for milk and eggs and just staples. Shop elsewhere for groceries - another Aldis because this one is decrepit and nasty and employees are not very friendly.

If youre used to a regular supermarket experience, Aldis may seem odd, but the prices are really, really good. Its almost like a cross between an odd lots store and a supermarket, but the deal turns out to be that theyre re-inventing how supermarkets work to reduce labor, waste, and ultimately cost. Worth checking out, but youll find the variety can be limited.

prices are really cheap (which does not inherently mean quality is not good). Been there couple of weeks ago and would definitely return. Make sure you have a quarter if you are planning to use their shopping cart. No plastic bags so gotta take your own bags (reusing is better for the mother earth anyway) .

If youve never shopped at an Aldos- bring a quarter, and bags. This store is clean, the people are friendly, and there are always carts out front. The cashiers are quick, the prices low (as always with Aldi), and the food is always being restocked with good fresh food quickly.

Great location to buy staple items and produce. Often times the best rates on fruits and vegetables. Milk used to be cheap but has gone up. Dozen eggs as of 1/11/17 are 49c.
