I have been an aldi shopper for over 13yrs. I moved to Vermont 4yrs ago from Ohio. I found the closest one in Bennington Vt and would travel from Pittsfield for the savings. And Yes the savings are that good to make that drive. When they opened the Rutland location I was one of the first shoppers through the door. They dont carrier the name brands most around here are used to however the brands they do carry are just as good for half the price. All natural and gluten free products available. I encourage everyone to shop here, if I cant find what I need here I follow up to Tops Market just down the street. Both store are extremely clean and friendly with great pricing. These store are America companies that pay good wages to the workers

There are a lot of people with widely ranging opinions of this store. I feel that it has a great selection of dry good and frozen foods. The egg prices cant be beat and the milk is priced reasonably (if not a little high). The frozen section is awesome, and I buy all of my paper goods from there. I also buy some meat from the store and really like their chickens and pork tender loins. The produce selection is not always great and doesnt last too long at home, but its still tasty.

Most of the food isnt as good as name brands! They only have 1 cash register open all the time! The cashier is required to go as fast as she can & just throws your groceries in a shopping cart & will toss heavy items on top of bread & chips & stuff u dont want crushed! Plus there rude to u if u day something to them about it!

I love the food and prices but its hard to check out when only one lane is open. I also wish they would open earlier and close at 9pm. Another thing is the beef..what is it? It cooks up so "wrong"! But so happy with this store and I hope to keep shopping there fir yrs to come!

Lots of product options at great prices. So cool how they do so many little things to keep prices down (renting carts for a quarter, selling bags rather than giving them away for free, etc). Plus the checkout process was easy and fast.

Sort of a down-market Trader Joes. If you can find it there then the price is right. Housewares and tools as well as food. Bring your own bag as you have to bag your self and bring a quarter for the deposit on the shopping cart!

A great little grocery store. Have been shopping at Aldis since I lived in Germany some 15 years back now. Like a mini-costco. Hard to explain. You just have to check it out in person.

Aldi has quality cheap groceries and brands you can not get any where else, but it always takes a while to get through checkout since they dont hsve any employees

Great prices and many of the products are BETTER than the name brands. Staff is extremely friendky; too. They are also known for paying staff exceptionally well.

Good prices, good selection. Quick in and out. Cart requires a quarter to use, but you get it back at the end. Bring your reusable shopping bags.
