This is the kind of place that adds intangible character to a community. It brings heart and spirit to a small New England country village. It isnt about the prices or the variety of goods available. Although those things range from fine to good. What makes the Jericho Center Country Store so great and vital to the village is the people and the activity that buzzes around the place, day in, and day out. Swing by this old-timey country store any day of the week, and it always has customers. It is never too busy, because it is a small town shop. But, it has just the right level of traffic to keep the place thrumming. It feels like a place that holds the community together. The owners seem to have their business plan well honed. They treat the customers the way they want to be treated. Respectfully and courteously. Theres no rush, becuase, why should there be.

Watch your reciept. Three had a misc. deli charge of $1.50 and I lost the rest so I can only imagine at the end of a week how much I missed. Only realized when I got home and did my vouchers. I added nothing to my delicious meals but Alex at the counter did. Too bad this put a bad spin on an awesome experience.
