Amazing deals and great clothes! Be prepared to rummage for the best stuff, and you will not be dissapointed! I suggest going often because they get so much new stuff. My wife and I consign our old clothes and always make $40-60 per trash bag, and we just use that to buy more from them, its a great program. The owner is a hoot and knows his stuff. I cant believe that anyone would have a bad experience here, but this place is not for someone who is a neat freak, uptight, doesnt like to dig for deals, or someone not willing to spend some time finding gems!

The clothes here are vintage and cute. They accept consignment, but its not a very good system, so I dont suggest it. Checks for successfully sold clothing have to be requested to be written and she only does so on 4 days a year (1 per quarter). The staff are friendly, more or less. Products are cheep and worth it. Definitely check it out! (This shop is on the corner of Pine and Marble, not on Battery St. Dont be confused.)

Crazy good deals. You leave feeling lucky after your purchase. They take so many things for consignment. The store credit you can trade for seems too good to be true. Its a fun experience to shop there. All the random artwork and crafts about the store invigorate your imagination and heighten your senses.

I tried to visit the Jean Exchange in March of 2009, and again in February of 2010 and both times it was closed and the building was completely empty. Maybe I was just looking in the wrong place or came at a bad time?

Most of the clothes in there are no better than salvation army... so thats a disappointment. But the local artist goods and artwork make it worth stopping in if you happen to walk by
