I was very happy with my purchase from Auto Gallery immediately after I bought my 2011 F-150 from them. Ryan worked with me to give me great value for my trade, and I felt like the truck was priced very well. Two days after I bought the truck, I felt the truck sputter under acceleration. I did some research and decided that the best thing to do was to reach out to Auto Gallery after my mechanic said he couldnt do anything for it and Id be better suited to go to a Ford dealer. Ryan agreed to take me to the dealership and get the truck looked at and fixed at the dealer rate which takes labor from $85/hr to $65/hr. I called Ryan while Ford was looking at my truck and asked for any help with the repairs he could offer me. He told me they couldnt assist me whatsoever. The truck ended up needing a $400 repair, something nobody wants to deal with the week of spending nearly $30K on a vehicle. I was, however, happy that I had a nice truck that was now in good shape. The first time I looked at the truck, I noticed a rattle when the truck started. Boyd, the owner, stood right next to myself and my wife as we heard the grinding rattle and said something along the lines of, "that occurs when the truck isnt started often. Itll go away once the truck is driven with more regularity." Being the ignorant consumer I am, I believed him. After I purchased the truck, I noticed that the truck made this horrible grinding noise every time I started it in the morning. I came to believe that this noise couldnt be normal like Boyd told me, and began to do some research. I ended up taking it to another Ford dealer, and they referred me to TSB 16-0027, a Ford service bulletin dealing with the timing chain. In a nutshell, this is an uncommon problem with the 3.5 EcoBoost, and requires a costly repair. The symptom of this problem is a grinding noise upon starting. Because the truck was warm when I took it to my mechanic prior to purchase, the truck didnt make the noise, and the mechanic didnt look into it. Ive already spent $400 to fix a problem that arose two days after purchasing the truck, now I could spend up to $3,000 to fix the preexisting problem Auto Gallery failed to disclose to me, and Boyd was dishonest about. Also, Ive seen this business respond to unhappy customers, including me, about consideration of service contracts: A service contract was never offered to me during our negotiation. Im a business owner. I have customers. Your bottom line is important, but customer happiness is important as well. I would have been happy with even $50 to help in fixing the first issue with my truck, but Auto Gallery was unwilling to provide any assistance. I dont anticipate that theyll be willing to help at all with the preexisting issue. Of course, I signed a waiver stating that Im purchasing the vehicle as-is, but even covering the problems 100% wouldnt greatly affect your $6M yearly revenue (Boyd bragged about that to me and my dad on a test drive). The truck was very well priced, Ryan is a great guy, but Boyd lied to me about a very expensive problem, and now Im stuck with even more repairs. I dont doubt that Auto Gallery has some great cars that people are very happy with, but I came out of this transaction feeling swindled by classic used car salesmen.

I have never written any kind of review before because I rarely get frustrated, but these people made my blood boil. We bought a car from them about 6 months ago. The car is great and I will start with their only strength. They have competitive pricing. Their business model seems to be to move a lot of cars at more competitive prices. On the other hand they are not the most honest and fairly rude. My first experience is that I found the rare care I was looking for on their lot, no other places had the exact one I was looking for, I usually prefer working with a private party because dealerships have too much overhead to cover for a well priced car. The owner of this place came with me on a test drive, he was rude and extremely condescending. I told him what I had noticed in the market for pricing and he instantly treated me as if I had done no research and as though I were blind to the most obvious things. I understand he has been selling cars for longer than I have been alive, but he was extremely rude about it and I am not his average car shopper. It usually takes me weeks or months of research and searching for the right car. Then once we agreed to a price, which was not ideal given the market but I was under a time crunch since I was moving out of state shortly, I asked if the vehicle had two sets of keys. Every car I have purchased has two sets of keys, and the sales man said it should but that the extra keys are held off site so I could come back tomorrow and hell be sure to grab them. I continued the transaction assuming there were two keys because a new key for most newer cars these days is around $200 which is a lot of money for someone who just got married and is moving to a new state. At the end of the day the dealership give us a spare key that went to another car. My fiance went to pick up the title and spare key only to find out that the key didnt work to the car. When she told them, they said that is too bad. She asked very kindly about getting a spare key, because that was part of the transaction we agreed to and she said that the salesman was very rude to her. I called him to find out what was going and and he said, "you should have gotten that you wanted a spare key in writing." Overall, everyone we worked with was condescending and rude, which if it was only aimed at me I wouldnt be as frustrated but when they were extremely rude to not only me but my wife and my mother in law, I got angry. I would avoid this place unless you have a deep understanding of contract law and you put EVERYTHING in writing before you sign ANYTHING. (Also, negotiate on their bogus "documentation" fee. They are a small enough family owned and operated business that they make a lot of margin there Im sure." I will probably be contacting BBB next.

We bought a 09 Ram from the Auto Gallery the end of March 16. We walked away feeling ok about the trade in and good about the truck we bought. Fast forward to June, the truck engine light kept coming on and off, the truck shook when we were on the freeway, got a high pitch whine associated with needing a new belt and rear breaks needed to be replaced. The problems started in late April and we had our mechanic look at it late May. They said we needed a new tensioner, new shocks and struts, an oxygen sensor, and the brakes were wearing abnormally (inner pads wearing faster than outer, unusually fast). He said 3 of these things would have been known by A.G. when we bought the truck. The engine computer had been reset when wed taken it in have it checked out, along with other things we had questions about but Im not going into all the details because this post is too long already. We dont feel good about the transaction and wished a lot of things would have been different now that its said and done. We are putting $2500 into a truck we just bought 3 months ago. These problems listed here are only what has happened in the last little while. Other things have happened that Im not even going to bring up. I know if I had been more careful and demanding i could have maybe avoided some of these issues, but dont expect them to be completely honest. They are, after all a used sales dealership. I know that they will respond to this with some lip service about how they didnt know, or how theyre sorry. And that really is fine. They need to protect their image if they want to keep business. The problem is, is I am an unsatisfied customer with reasonable concerns about the dishonesty, and the extent things had been done to cover these problems. When we had had our truck checked by a mechanic, the only thing that showed was the rear brakes a little worn, and a computer reset. Listen very carefully to all the one star ratings theyve been given recently, and if you still go in, take care to be extra cautious. UPDATE: 9/27/16 Havent read the response of dealership. Just updating that now we just had to fix a hole in the exhaust manifold. We are now into this truck $3800 since we bought it. Auto gallery needs to put their money where their mouth is.
