It was 2004. So there i was just a lad at 3 years of age. Me and my family moved from inner city Taylorsville, moved out to Stansbury Park, Tooele. We didnt know much about this town but we did know that there was an American treasure. A Walmart Supercenter. We lived in our house for a few days before we had to head up to walmart for groceries. We left for our adventure to walmart. we pulled into the walmart parking lot looking for a spot. I didnt have the time, money, or strength to walk all the way across the lot. But long story short we found a space close to the establishment. we walk in and are greeted by the realest g to ever walk the earth, Bob, bob is a Gd legend. he has worked at the walmart for longer than any of us have been alive. He says "welcome to walmart" we give a nod and his smile could make a Feminazi thats being proved wrong happy. We enter and are nearly greeted again by a 1996 PowerRider 3005 Mobility scooter The large lady in at the control says " watch it you twig!" thats when i sense a roast coming We look over at her husband whos 54 88 pounds, a complete opposite of his wife and say" thy dont allow animals here but you brought a sea cow." So Micro machine and his to fat to function wife leave and speed out in their 1997 ford pick up truck. now i had to use the restroom and we ask an employee and the say " over there" and he pointed in a direction that had no correlation with the true location of the restroom. me and my mommy wander around the mart looking for the restroom and long story short we found it. so we went shopping and found everything we needed and we got to the register which was being maned by an acne ridden high school drop out who got addicted to cigarettes in 10th grade. and he smelt like ass. and we payed for all our stuff and we got a goodbye from Bob. I feel like walmart can improve by hiring less r-tarded people

I just moved out here in Tooele county. I have always shopped at Walmart where i previously lived and had very good experiences. Now assuming that ALL Walmarts would be the same, I was proven wrong the hard way. First there are many items out of stock, or empty shelves. There isles are jammed pack w/sales or pallets of boxes which makes it hard to move around and in return, Im constantly being run over by baskets. The manager there named EMILY!! is very rude and inconsiderate to customer needs,,she comes across as; Its my way and if you dont like it,,then leave. Now to top this off; on black friday 2012, I am on crutches because of an injury,,of course there was the mean manager EMILY with one other worker and one Tooele cop garding the XBOX games making sure no one tears the bax open early. I showed up 2hrs before the sale, so I was actually right in front of the sale standing there on crutches. when the sale started, the Walmart employees and the Tooele cop disappeared, I was trampled on, I had shoe prints on my white sweater, I have a bruise the size of a dinner plate on the back of my leg where I was kicked, also another bruise on my arm that I used to shield my face. The items (xbox games) that I had where taken out of my arms,,,I was so devastated, I could not even go back to get the other item I wanted which was at another time (samsung tv). Times are hard now and I rely on black friday to get my kids what they want,,after this experience I will not go back to that store nor will I let them rob me of my Thanksgiving ever again. Walmart does not care about the safety of there customers. Giving them a poor rating is not low enought for this store,

I am so grateful for the Bakery department!! I had my sons birthday planned 2 weeks ago. Scheduled a dinosaur cake based in the movie we were attending for his birthday. 3 days prior to his birthday I received a phone call that they no longer had the Dino movie for the theater we rented. Instead they had Norm of the north. Not only was I stressing over the fact that everything I arranged was dinosaur related but the fact that nowhere had anything "norm of the north" themed! I went to the Walmart bakery to change my cake order and asked for something "wintery" looking and said if try to find a polar bear figure or something to tie it together. The young lady asked what we were changing our theme to. When I explained the situation, she said we can make it look snowy and ice, or figure something out. So I looked for cake decorations with no luck in only 3 days, decided Id print some images from online and attach with Popsicle sticks. When I arrived to pick up my "wintery" cake I had a young lady bring me the cake. Before I could look at it she said, I saw the notes that you were trying for Norm of the North. Unfortunately, we do not have anything... I shook my head and went to say "I understand" when she continued and said, "but I drew the image of him on there... I hope it works!" It was perfect!! She saved the day! I am so impressed with the effort they made to help me in this situation. It may seem simple and little to some, but is huge when I know how many customers they deal with daily. They took the time to look up (a not very popular) image and work something out when they didnt have to! It meant the world to my 7 year old... And me!

Worst store and worst untrained staff ever. If I could give you negative stars I would. I had to cash a money order, both women in customer service center obviously dont know what theyre doing. Told me it wouldnt cash and to call some bs number that when called didnt answer anything. (It was a Walmart money order that Id gotten from this walmart and didnt need to use anymore) I even had its receipt stub and it wasnt filled out. Went on a wild goose chase when told to cash it somewhere else. Finally went to the Walmart market in magna and they were wonderful and within 2 minutes I was walking out money in hand and happy. Turns out since the assistant manager helped me here and I told her all this nonsense that they didnt follow even basic protocol and that THEY are supposed to call on it from the beginning and apologized a bunch for THEM! The staff at this location will cut you off when walking in the store or shove past you if you walk slow (like physically shove) because theyre on lunch, they stare at you like deer in headlights if you need help and the store is set up horrible. I absolutely hate the Tooele walmart supercenter and will happily drive to magnas walmart market or winco for my grocery needs and even farther for cloths and ect.. Id rather spend 80 in gas and hours of driving then 10 minutes in a store less than 3 minutes from my house thats how much I hate this store.
