Ok, I try and remain level headed, I really dont like to be negative. But this experience has blown me away. I went in to buy about 40 bucks worth of sprinkler parts and waited in line (Saturday I expect this) once I got to the counter I ran my Credit Card and it said approved but apparently a system glitch cause it to actually not go through so I tried again. Again glitch or whatever so after waiting for the manager to come down who was on the phone with somebody else I offered to try my debit card. Again approved but they said it glitches. At this point the managers gets on a second computer to see if any of the transactions have gone through still on the phone with somebody else. After about 10 minutes he determines none of them did so I ask him if he was sure I didnt get charged and he replied with "Im pretty sure" !! great way to instill confidence in your customers sunroc. Regardless Im out of patients at this point so I just say ok thank you and walk out leaving my parts behind. Well low and behold the next business day comes around and on my debit card is a charge for 40 bucks from sunroc. So now I have to return to sunroc again and ask them to refund my money. They ask me the amount. Not my name, not my card number nothing just the amount, Im think well ok then, lets hope somebody didnt end up with the same amount. Then they tell me 7-10 days before I get my money back which is unacceptable in my opinion. All of this is done by the cashier using her radio, the manager couldnt even be bothered to talk to me directly. This place is a joke. I will do everything to avoid this place as much as possible from now on. And if I dont get my refund in 7-10 days Ill be back to update this and also take legal action if I have to.

Ive really had great experiences with SunRoc. Ive lived in the area my entire life, and have gone there ever since it was called Utah Service (I think that was the old name...). Ive never thought of writing a review on them, but after trying another local hardware store and having multiple bad experiences there, I figured that Sunroc has actually earned a good review. Ive always been treated kindly by the employees, and have never had a problem with customer service. The selection is pretty decent for the size of store, and the prices, while not as good as a big box store, arent bad for a local hardware store. Ive yet to find a better place to go for the odd nut or bolt - great selection here. And to top it all off, the free popcorn is a family favorite! Overall, in the years I have been going to Sunroc, I never knew how good they were until I tried another place. Ill be sticking with Sunroc.

This place is usually great for finding stuff you need to get your project done. As long as it has to do with yard work or general home repair. They also have a great selection of tools. However, today I asked if they had a part that I needed to repair my washer. Instead of them just saying no, we dont carry those, I was told in a very disrespectful and condescending way. A slow head shack and a curt, "We dont carry appliance repair parts." This also isnt the first time I have been treated like I was annoying the person I was asking for help. I will only return if I know for sure they have what I need and I wont have to ask anyone for help.

Though their prices are really high our business has shopped there for 20+yrs due to convenience as our business is near them in Springville. However today for no reason the manager refused to accept our company check.Never ever wrote them a bad check. We have even done machine work for both WW Clyde and Geneva Rock which are their affiliate companies.I told them I would not be back and they acted like they didnt care at all. If they wont trust and support businesss and good people in their own town,we definitely wont support them.

I live very close to the store and would love if it was a convenient place to shop but the staff is not even remotely helpful. There is never anyone around to ask questions to and if so they are high school students who do not know the answer. In the 3 years I have lived here I have gone in over 2 dozen times and every time have been disappointed and gone to Home Depot. I would love to support local businesses but they make it impossible.

I like having a hardware store close to home and this place usually has what I need. Most things are prices a little higher than Home Depot or Lowes, but thats to be expected as its smaller. Im usually disappointed with the condition of the lumber...better selection elsewhere. And like many of the other reviews, customer service needs some help. On the upside, Store is clean and organized and I do love the free popcorn.

Came here for a couple of quick keys to be copied and cut... Horrible idea! The two different young men who attempted to help us were completely ignorant and spent 30+ minutes trying to figure out how to make the correct copies... And several didnt even work afterwards when we tested them! Instead, I recommend going to AM/PM keys in Spanish Fork...5 minutes tops, and then you can get on with your life!

I love that we have a good hardware store in Springville. They have a great selection of nuts, bolts and screws. I can usually find what I need here with out needing to take a trip out of town. The customer service could use a little help, most employees seem to be in a bad mood most days.

Great to have a hardware store in Springville. Obviously its not as big as Home Depot and so they dont have everything you need, but good for the basics. My only complaint is that the staff always seem to be in bad moods. Could be trained to be a little more friendly.

Pros: Local, conveniently located for Springville/Mapleton Free popcorn Occasionally really killer deals, like 50% off paint buckets Cons: Prices are a little steeper than if you drive down to a chain like Home Depot Lots of younger employees, sometimes inexperienced

I can usually find what Im looking for, but man, the employees, especially the checkers, seems to be in sour moods. I noticed it the first time I went in and have noticed it every time since. Kid in sprinkler section was happy though.

Ive been impressed with the amount of inventory and expertise packed into this local hardware store. For the most part, it seems like their prices are comparable to the likes of Home Depot.

My go to place for home projects. I have been going to the Springville store since I moved here in the early 90s. Very friendly.
