I really wanted to like this place, I really did. My husband and I were shopping for a new bedroom set, and wanted something a little different than the traditional sets that you can get at the big stores in town. We were thrilled to happen upon Direct Source Furniture where most of their pieces are transitional or modern in style, and very affordable. We also were tickled that even though their prices were good, the furniture appeared to still be a good quality. We decided on the Nathan Upholstered Bed along with the dresser and chest from the Crystal Ridge Collection. That was on May 26th. Upon putting our order in, we were told that the bed and the chest would be available in the next day or so, but the dresser would take 8-10 days as it needed to be ordered from the manufacturer. We agreed that we could wait that long, and that we would have all of the pieces delivered at the same time so that we would only need to pay one delivery fee. Thirteen days later, Direct Source called to let us know the bed and chest were in, but the dresser was on back order until June 30th. We were disappointed, but again agreed to wait to have all the pieces delivered together. June 30th rolled around and I called them back. After multiple days of calling and recalling and waiting on hold I was told that the dresser had been put on back order again, and would not arrive until the beginning of August. I was beyond frustrated, so I asked that they work with us and reduce or cover the delivery of the pieces that were there so we could at least get part of our order. The sales associate told me that she needed to talk to her supervisor. Again after multiple days of calling and recalling, and re-explaining our situation to the SAME sales associate it was finally agreed that we would pay for the first delivery charge and that when the dresser came in, they would pay for it to be delivered. We set up delivery, which in it’s self was a joke. They outsource the delivery to a no-name company that only accepts $50 cash and will only deliver the items to the garage or the first room of the home. Finally three days later our bed and chest were delivered. That night we began to set up the bed, only to find out that it was MISSING four brackets needed to put the bed together! So again we jumped into a two-week long process of trying to get the brackets while we slept on our box springs on the floor. My husband was finally fed up with dealing with Direct Source and directly called the manufacturer. The brackets were overnighted to us the next day. Here we are on August 8, and again after three days of calling and recalling our dresser was finally delivered to us today. I am not sure if we just had some bad luck, but I am so glad this nightmare is over. Direct Source has some nice pieces, but after our experience I would be very wary of ordering anything that is not guaranteed in stock. Time after time when dealing with Direct Source employees we were met with incompetence, laziness, and apathy. Very poor customer service, we will not be back.

I ordered $3700 worth of furniture on January 3rd. I was told 2 weeks for delivery, it was delivered within that time frame. They sent what they promised, however, they forgot the glass for my dining room table and both of the dressers I ordered where broken. I called them and asked for my glass, and a return on the dressers, and on the matching end table. They told me that the glass is on the way, but they need pictures to accept my dresser return. I explained that the damage was on the inside rolling tracks of the drawers and there was no way to take a picture. They insisted on a picture. I told them that I would rip open the front of the dresser to take a picture of the rollers. After 3 phone calls back and forth they agreed to the return, but said that they want to wait until they send out the glass delivery, I said ok and we set up a time for the drop off and pick up. The delivery company did not arrive when the furniture company said they would. Both companies blamed the other organization. I rescheduled. They finally arrived on the right date/time and the exchange was completed. Direct Source Furniture called and said that only 2 of the 3 pieces where returned, I said all where returned. After an hour of checking they found the other one. Getting my refund was very difficult due to the credit card proccessing company they used (I think they changed that). I had many dificulties with my Direct Source Order. In the end, I got my refund, all my furniture came, and it was GREAT quality for the price. It seemed to be a perfect storm of problems on there end (furniture issues, delivery issues, refund issues) that caused my issues. In summation, they worked very hard to resolve my many issues, which is good. There where alot of issues, which is bad. Good furniture for a cheap price. There where very honest through the entire proccess, I always felt informed and never scammed. I would consider buying from then again. They also gave me free delivery and a small discount for my large order, they did this before the problems just to be nice. So that was really cool of them. My refund hit my account on Febuary 21rst. My original order was placed on January 3rd and charged January 9th. This shows you the lack of oversite they have with there credit card company/ refunds.

The people that work here are very nice and helpful. Their communication, for lack of a better word, sucks. The whole premise of their business means you will wait a few weeks to get your furniture generally, which is why they are somewhat cheaper than other places. I knew this going into my purchase and had no issues with it. The trouble is that they dont offer official delivery (their warehouse guy does as a side job not directly managed by the business) so I had to rent a truck to get my furniture. After 3+ weeks I was told my furniture would arrive on either Friday or Saturday. I called midway through Saturday ahd then was told it would arrive Monday. The furniture did arrive Monday (I had to call them, they didnt call me to tell me it arrived) and I arranged to get off work early to rent a truck and get the furniture before 6. I did that, but then was told the warehouse was closed (even though it is connected to the showroom.) So my furniture arrived and I couldnt even pick it up. This is information they could have made abundantly more clear and honestly waiting a few extra days would be fine. But the lack of communication has really made this a very difficult process, in the future Id spend the extra money to get my furniture elsewhere.

Horrible experience! We ordered a twin over full bunk with a dresser over a month ago. The dresser arrived cracked from freight damage, plus other pieces were scratched and marked by manufacturer imperfections. When I sent in photos to get new pieces, it took them weeks to get back to me, and then they didnt send the new dresser but sent a furniture repairman to look at it- I didnt want REPAIRED furniture- I wanted new quality condition furniture. He ended up stating that it did need to be replaced and then attempted to repair another piece for which the replacement was even worse. His repair was unacceptable, and I was asked to send in YET ANOTHER photo of that piece to get a now one. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They do not return calls in a timely manner and when I expressed my dissatisfaction, i was simply told that if I wanted I could return the bed. Wow. Think twice. Is your time worth the aggravation?
