Pretty good selection, unwelcoming staff. It was our fist time there so we wanted to check everything out. Unfortunately, one of the cashiers kept walking up and down the end of the aisles like she had a purpose but was clearly just stalking us like we were going to steal something (ignoring the fact we were filling a cart with stuff to buy), not once asking us if we needed any help finding something. Finally, we asked the other (older) lady at the front of the store if she could recommend a good lo mein noodle for us. At which point she scanned a couple aisles and said "see these say lo mein on them". Gee thanks, pretty sure we asked for a recommendation not for you to insult us like we cant read. Weve had noodles that claim to be " lo mein" and they were crap (not the good ones like you get at a restaurant). So once again, thanks! The lady also talked to us in a way that sounded like she was talking to idiots. Is it because we are white? She seemed pretty friendly to the many Oriental people who came in while we were there. I might go back for some of the products but I dont think my wife will.

I dont love this place because it has amazing customer service or crazy good deals for Asian food items, but it has a very good selection on Korean and Japanese products at relatively good prices (especially when compared to Sage Market). Ive never really had to ask for help so I cant comment on the service, but the cashiers recognize me since I come so often. Their frozen fish are pretty good when salted and you can get soy sauce and other ingredients for cheaper than the regular grocery store. Their kimchi is top notch as well, and I believe its made by the store owners or something because its unlabeled and unsealed.

The proprietors are Korean, though they have Japanese and Chinese foods here as well. One of my favorite finds is a little quart jar of homemade Kimchi that a lady makes here. It has no list of ingredients, no label, and for $5.99 you can get the best tasting Kimchi I have ever had in Korea or in America. So so much better than those commercially packaged brands. Anyways, I always love to stop off here, they have those gift boxes of little korean beverages here along with everything else you would need to scratch your korean itch, including proper korean meat.

I love this place. I usually buy Maggi here, cheaper then other places and I usually try to buy something new to increase my exposure to a different culture, very interesting food, I love it! I just wish I HAD MORE money to get more food from there more often.

This place .is kinda a rip off. They make you buy $10:00 worth of groceries. Just to use a credit or debit card.because they are to cheap to pay the transaction fee.it left me with a bad taste in my mouth.I will never shop there again.

The Oriental Food Market has lots of Korean food amongst other korean things like grills, butane stoves and kitchenware. The prices here are significantly higher than Seoul Market on State Street.

Love this place because they sell my favorite drink that I used to drink growing up in Hawaii, Hawaiian Sun. Best Guava juice you will ever taste . Ive never found these drinks anyplace else.

Great place to get oriental foods. I go here to get most of my sushi ingredients. The fish, shrimp, and tabiko is way overpriced though, I suggest buying from Aquarius Fish Co in downtown SLC

Great products, but the staff is not very friendly. If you can get past that youll love this place. Ill be back for their products.

This is your one-stop shop if you want to make sushi. They carry mostly Japanese items, with a decent selection of thai goods.
