I went to buy a nursing bra when I was 41 weeks pregnant. The first thing that I was asked was if I was planning in buying or just getting measured because there is a charge for just getting measured and not buying anything. A little strange I thought. So I told her I was hoping to buy and that was the first eye contact I got. Then she asked when I was due, I told her to which she responded she wouldnt even bother measuring me because I "cant buy a bra until at least two weeks after giving birth." She wouldnt even allow me to look! She than gave me a couple of night time nursing bras that only came in small, medium, and large sizes. Now before nursing I was a 34DDD and usually the standard S,M and L sizes don;t fit. I tired on a L and it was ok. I decided it would work for now, but I couldnt believe I was spending that much on a flimsy strip of elastic with very little support. Definitely not something I could wear out in public! It reminded me of a "shelf bra" like you find in camisoles. Then when I was 4 weeks postpartum I went back because my flimsy night time "bra" was not cutting it anymore. I was greated with the same rude routine of asking if I was "just getting sized or actually buying" This time I was measured and I had indeed gone up in size. I was now a 34H. I tried on a few styles, informed her I didnt like any of them and wanted something with more support, something with a little more padding and shape in the cups. She laughed at me and said that my "huge size doesnt have nice bras." So I yet again settled for something I didnt like and felt the anger in my chest when I swiped my card for an overpriced bra I wasnt in love with because I didnt know where else to go. It has now been two weeks of wearing this bra and I absolutely hate ti! It has no support, my girls always look saggy. It has no lining whatsoever so even with nursing pads my mommy nipples always show. Im embarrassed to go out in public wearing it! And to top it all off I found the same bra on Amazon for half the price! So I decide to do a little research online to see if I could find a good bra in my size. Well, not really to my surprise, I have indeed found several websites and different bras that are so much better! More of what I was looking for to begin with. Cute bras - not your boring nude, black and white options. Bras with underwire, without underwire, bras with padding and lining. Bras that have shape to them! And all at decent prices I would pay for a bra I actually like! I ordered a few said bras I found online and I LOVE THEM! Needless to say I will not be going back and I will definitely not recommend this place! The sales lady was rude and unhelpful and I feel like I was lied to in order to keep a sale. Which is a sha,e because us large breasted women need places like this to help us find good bras! Not to mention it is ridiculous they charge you just to get sized! Very, very disappointed and mad I wasted money here!

Such a mixed experience here. I had a great visit, the woman was able to help me find a bra that fits and that was supportive, which is something that is hard for me. However I HATE underwire bras, and the sales rep told me that the bra I had chosen and did like comes is a version that has no underwire (yay!). She recommended I get one of each because the underwire was going to be more supportive since I have a very large chest. BUT even though I couldnt try on the no-underwire version, I had to pre-pay for it, and even if it didnt work I was stuck with it :( How awful! She said she was confident it would work so she would order it as a sample item and if I liked it and tried it on I could buy then, but this is not a normal thing they do. HOWEVER, when they got my bra in (which took 3 weeks btw), they said the brand didnt even make that bra with no underwire in my size! So why the heck did she say shed order it for me? Its good I didnt pre pay for something that doesnt exist! I would have also liked a heads up, when they went to put in the order and found it wasnt something they could get they should have told me. In the end I have found other retailers that carry this brand that allow returns. You can not go into the stores to try them on (they are online only) but you can buy it and if it doesnt fit return it, which I think is important when you are investing $50 in a bra. After my visit but before they called me about my order, they accidentally called me to tell another customer the bathing suit she ordered didnt come in the size she wanted either! I found this upsetting because when you are having people prepay $50+ for an item that may not even fit them with no return options then you should check BEFORE you take their money that their item exists. It just seems like a pretty simple step. I feel like if when I had been there if she had said while I was at the register "oh, it doesnt look like they make them in your size" I would have been FINE because I wouldnt have spent a month waiting in anticipation for it. I will not be purchasing from Lace by Louise again. Two stars because the woman was nice and they do have those hard to find extended sizes. I am grateful that I found something that works for me. But I will be purchasing it through other retailers in the future, that have better customer service and a better return policy.

I went in to get fitted, when I arrived they did not tell me it was going to be a 10.00 fitting fee unless I bought something. It wasnt until I was done being fitted that I saw a tiny sign saying there was a fee. So I ordered a bra so I didnt waste $10. I have been waiting over 6wks now for this bra to come in. I asked for a refund and they said they dont give refunds. The fitting lady was really knowledgable but the rest of my experience has been awful! Good thing I already bought some bras that fit from victorias secret or I would be really pissed that I was in 3 cup sizes too small of a bra still because my order has yet to come in!

The staff here are very helpful and very knowledgeable with their products. Ive come here for nursing bras as well as regular bras. I have an odd size and they were awesome at choosing a few bras that suited my needs. They have childrens toys in the changing room, huge bonus when taking the kids with you. They offer everything from the wedding night, everyday wear, to pre and post baby. The only thing I wish they had is swim wear in the sizes they carry.
