Stopped in at Big 5 to find some workout pants/capris for the gym. I had forgotten mine and needed something that wasnt too expensive. Luckily there was a little sale going on and I found what i needed for about $20. Big 5 is smaller sporting goods store stocked with the basics. Fishing, camping, baseball, basketball, swimming, bird watching, skiing - you get the idea. Not a huge selection, but I do like it because I dont feel so overwhelmed like I am in some of the larger sporting good stores.

Love this place. My boyfriend lives in the area but had never tried it. Weve been there twice in 2 weeks, and we both LOVED the dishes we got. Its a little small, which I guess is the downside but if you go during the week, its not too crowded and you can sit inside or outside. Reasonably priced considering the food is delicious. Havent tried the desserts, they happened to be over-priced and nothing special listed. Service was great both times, 2 different waiters.Try it, its worth it.

Staff was inattentive, continuously cared for guests checking out before taking a moment to open a fitting room, then watched management hover near the fitting room while I evaluated one article of clothing. A five minute size check took twenty minutes and I was denigrated by staff in the process. When you add events like this to the usually poor selection, lack of staff and high prices, Ive learned to go elsewhere for sporting goods.

It was really slow and I was stranded there for a whil so I chatted with the employees. All were super friendly and helpful, but Jesssica was particularly customer service oriented and went above and beyond in regards to my experience. I wont go to any other big 5

Its a smaller store so it isnt overwhelming and they always have great sales. This is my go to for sporting shoes and hiking supplies. The staff is very helpful and welcoming.

Very friendly staff, the problem is that this is the wal mart of sporting goods. This is not the place if you are a serious athlete that needs top notch equipment.
