After an afternoon at the beach, we thought wed give them a try and have a waffle cone. We were the only people in the store, walked up to the counter, and the glass in the gelato cases was fogged uo so you had to lean over to see the flavours. The lights in the case were off and the woman, without saying hello, turned on the lights and said can I help you. We obviously hadnt chosen a flavor yet since the lights were off and the window was fogged up. She repeated herself impatiently so we hurried up to order two waffle cones, and were snippily told they were out of all the dipped and sprinkled cones. This apparently should have been obvious since she put a napkin over them in the display case. We got regular waffle cones, paid our $10.83 and went to sit down. The woman didnt thank us or wish us a nice day. The gelato was full of ice crystals and instead of the normally super smooth and creamy texture, the gelato was gritty, and the waffle cone was stale. Obviously it isnt fresh. If the woman at the counter had been even remotely polite, we might have said something, but she was so rude, we decided to just cut our losses and go to Dairy Queen where we paid $2 less and got great service. Very disappointing from the moment we walked in the door.

We arrived tonight an entered the shop. Upon arrival, we said hi to the lady behind counter. She responded by blatantly looking at the clock and telling us "we close in 30 minutes." My wife and MIL placed gelato orders and employee served us. At the register, I asked for a coffee. She answered me "NO, we do not have coffee!." The beast of a lady was so unpleasant we didnt dare eat inside. We went to the benches outside and ate their gelato. Employee then storms around store shutting off lights and locking the door 20 minutes before signed closing. Interesting customer service philosophy!!

google said they were open till midnight but they locked the door at 1130 so I walked to the gift shop next door and when I got back my car wouldnt start the 2 men in the ice cream shop locked up came out and offered a jump to my bf and when my bf walked over to the gas station next to the shop to get jumper cables the 2 men who closed up shop took off on us and yet again let us down. how rude! I hope when youre on vacation someone shows you the same hospitality youve shown us. I guess this isnt a review on the restaurant but the character of the people who run it

This place is not a real cafe, its just a side entrance to the swimwear store that has a coffee machine and an ice cream bar. The employees dont care. I smelled garbage both times that I stopped by. I should have left, but saw LavAzza brand coffee and thought Id try. The coffee and food were gas station quality at Starbucks prices.

The ice cream was very very good and both ladies working were very nice. But I ordered chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream... Obviously for the big chunks of cookie dough but ended up with not a single piece of cookie dough in my ice cream. I was very disappointed with this but other than that it was very good.

Pretty standard ice cream place. Dont be fooled though, this is definitely not gelato. Its not even that good of ice cream due to too large of ice crystals. Staff seemed unfriendly. Good coffee made fresh though, and its not too expensive.

When we called to see what they offered they hung up on us the first time & the second they didnt answer & the third time they told us they were closed & hung up again. It is Friday night, at 830 in May! Really!!??

Good flavors, but we couldnt even hear ourselves think because they were screwing shelves into the wall. I had to ask the employee what about 3 times, and she looked irritated. Wouldnt go back.

Gelato was supposedly home made - might have been. Ive cream was not, it was Blue Bell. Gelato was decent, not amazing. Prices were a bit much, no service with a smile.

Some great Gelato, some taste like American style ice cream. The best is great the others are average. Pretty steep pricing but probably less than other vacation venues.

Nice selection of good flavors. Theyre open late so its a sweet spot to stop after dinner. Price is a bit high but youre on the island so grin and bear it!

Gelato was more like ice cream. Not great, just ok. Pistachio tasted artificially flavored, chocolate was not rich like Gelato.

Very old ice cream look like a year old, too much bad smell came. Dont go there otherwise you gona sick.

Yummy ice cream shop across the street from Blackbeards restaurant. I would recommend it for dessert.

Ice cream is good but it melts quickly being that they sell gelatos. Service could be better.
