Problem: * They charged my new credit card *without my permission*! Details: - One Saturday, to get an additional percentage off the price of some earrings, I agreed to open a JC Pennys credit card. When it was time to pay, they asked if I wanted to use my new credit card, and I said, "No." I gave them my usual credit card instead. I had to wait 24 hours before I could take the earrings home. Because of religious beliefs I dont shop on Sundays, so I went back on Monday to pick them up. A month later, I received a credit card statement in the mail and I noticed that there was a balance- the cost of the earrings. I looked at the credit card statement for my card I wanted them to use, and there were no charges made. The charge was made on the *Sunday* after I had bought the earrings! I called the credit card company and complained. I paid off the charges with the card that should have been used the first time. Ive tried to call the store on multiple days and at different times, but no operator ever answers. I will be going to the store to complain. If they dont recognize the problem, I will go to higher authorities, because I believe this to be CREDIT CARD FRAUD. Making a charge on my credit card that I didnt authorize is Not lawful. Cons: - Making a charge on my credit card that I didnt authorize. - Sales lady wasnt very personable. Pro: - 1 star, only because this was the only place I was able to find the simple earrings I wanted. * If I am contacted by the General Manager at the Alamo Ranch store and am able to either get them to recognize the problem and make changes, so that this doesnt happen to other customers, OR if they are able to help me see that it was an honest mistake, I will be happy to delete or change my review.

THEY HAVE SIGNS POSTED EVERYWHERE BUY 1 AT FULL PRICE GET THE 2ND ONE FOR 1CENT.. I HAVE READ THE SIGNS SO CAREFULLY 3-5XS AND IT NEVER FAILS WHEN I GO TO CHECK OUT NOT ONE OF MY ITEMS IS 1CENT.. ITS SO ANNOYING. ALSO I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT I AM A BI***, TO NEVER GO BACK TO THE STORE, SEVERAL HURTFUL WORDS, I REPORTED IT TO THE CORP OFFICE, THE STORE WAS SUPPOSE TO CALL ME AND I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM ANYONE, THIS LADY DID THIS TO ME A JCPENNYS ALLOWED IT TO CONTINUE TO HAPPEN BECAUSE THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT, NOTHING TO HELP TRY AND STOP HER. I GUESS THEY ARE ALL FOR HARASSMENT, SINCE THEY ALLOWED ALL OF THIS TO HAPPEN THE WORST PART WAS WHEN THIS PERSON WHO I DO NOT KNOW, ASKED ME TO LEAVE THE STORE YELLING AT ME, AND I DONT KNOW WHAT SHE HAS AGAINST ME I REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHO SHE IS.. I JUST THINK THIS SITUATION COULD HAVE BEEN PAID MORE ATTENTION TOO WHO KNOWS HOW MANY OTHER PEOPLE SHE HAS DONE THIS TO.. NOT A VERY GOOD IMPRESSION..

Horrible...absolutely horrible. Had to order items since store did not have. Half of order came in and the rest did not arrive by promised time. They could not tell me when item would be in. Attempts at contacting store and customers service was futile. Phone just rings and goes unanswered. Now I know why they are going out of business.

Keep hearing that JCP is going out of business. I usually shop Sephora in there. Walked around the rest of the store and the material being used on some of the clothes is really cheap. Others, in the womens/ladies clothes look like they should be sold at Forever 21. Just really disappointed in how they are trying to save the stores.

Not a great JC Penney. Lines are long. Customer service is a joke. I have been a loyal customer for 12 years and I will never shop at this location again after being treated very poorly. 2 stars because the manager did try and remedy an awful situation but I will drive out of my way to go to another location.

Mens big and tall is a disgrace. Clothing on the floor or just shived into any space tht will hold it. Mixed merchandice and incorrect sales price. I guess since its not comnected to the mens department it does not get the attention of the mens department sales associates.

This location is a good amount smaller than the mall locations. If you want a good selection, go elsewhere. It is good for a quick stop if you know what you need and they have it though. Sometimes the cashier line can get long (theres only one) but it goes fast.

Every single employee I came across had a smile on their face, wished my good morning and asked if I needed any help. Everything was clean and well organized and upon checkout the employee was increasingly helpful and polite. A very pleasant experience!

This place is always a wreck. I dont like shopping here because there are clothes all over the place. The shoes are in disarray, and shelves falling down. I truly dont think try have managers that walk the store.

Nice clean store, you can find great deals when utilizing sales, coupons, etc. This location and The Rim are my faves for Jcp, but be prepared for long lines on popular shopping days!
