I was 15 minutes early to my appointment for my golden. I waited 15 minutes to finally have the clerk sign us in even though 3 other clerks tried to help me, the same worker kept shooing them away so we just waited and waited. Finally they took my dog back. As we were driving to get on the freeway, my cell phone rang. The Pet Smart people said they couldnt get our dog into the kennel. I asked them if they could just use a treat because we had been coming to Pet Smart for 7 years and we had never had a problem before. They told me that they didnt have any treats for dogs. I was shocked! I said, "You dont have ANY dog treats at Pet Smart? They told me that I needed to come right back to the store and pick him up because 5 people could not get him into the crate. I asked to speak to a manager and explained that we were on our way to one of my students plays and it was very important to me. The manager agreed to try again and they finally crated my dog. We drove straight back to the store after the play and they told us that our dog was still being groomed. Although he had a 1:30 appointment, they put him at the end of a long line of dogs. They told me to come back in an hour. Finally, we picked up our dog. We will never go back there again. The employee that groomed him acted like she was doing us a favor and said she stayed an extra hour and a half just to groom our dog because the other employees were just going to let him stay in the crate all day. I am thankful for the kind woman who took care of my golden but I am appalled by the lack of expertise with larger dogs. I do not recommend this store and I do not feel like they know very much about dogs.

I previewed the facility, asked questions, discussed options and made an appt. We arrived early with the required documentation. 1st, when they printed off the paperwork the grooming service was more than I had been led to believe, but I agreed anyway. More than 3 hrs go by and no one called to say my dog was ready, so I went to check on her. She had not been touched. She had been sitting in the back for 3 and 1/2 hours and not even been bathed. I told the groomers that it was unacceptable and they became defensive and told me they were too busy to get to her. I complained at the front counter and was told to fill out a survey online. I was 1/2 through the survey and got the error that the website was not available and after several attempts was unable to complete the survey. My recommendation would be to not waste your time with the grooming (non)service and below par customer service at PetSmart Store # 1772 at 201 University Oaks Blvd, Ste. 700.

I met Rachel at the grocery store and told her that I was looking for a groomer after she told me that she was a groomer. She told me where she worked. At first I told her what a bad experience I had at a different location my dogs hair was shaved down to the skin and her hair and ski have never been the same and was very reluctant to take my dog Charlie in but after talking with her and listening I could tell she loved her job and wanted her customers to be happy with her design work. Rachel was just getting back from some kind of surgery so she said she would check her schedule for the next day. I took Charlie in and what an amazing job Rachel did. I wish she would have been there when I picked Charlie up but she was gone for the day. Thank you Rachel for winning me back as a customer. Charlie will see you for her next grooming. I let you a tip that day I picked Charlie up I hope you received it. Thank you again Rachel.

This PetSmart is great!!! Some of the feedback that has been left regarding this PetSmart has mentioned awful, unhelpful management. Take these comments with a grain of salt (they must have caught someone on a day day or been in a negative mood themselves). Everyone has been super helpful and they do not hesitate to find out the status of items that are out of stock. And the groomers here are amazing - both with their talents and their love for the animals they work with. I have a 12 year Springer Spaniel that is deaf and has arthritis. Watching the way they handled him and cared for him was very refreshing and a credit to the groomers character. You guys are doing great! Keep up the good work!

Love PetSmart! I just recently got a puppy and I was able to get everything I needed at one store and we have been there twice to keep my pup up to date with his shots and everyone at PetSmart are quick and efficient. We dont have to wait long for our appointment like I have had to do at other places. We will continue to come here for all my puppy/dog needs.

My dog and I love the groomers here. They are all kind and respectful. She is always cut wonderfully and if I want something else done they are ready to do it. They are great. Also, I took the training classes at this location. They did a superb job and you can go in any time and they know your name. I love my PetSmart!

I love this location. Julie is my groomer and she FAB! we have arescue dog with behavior issues and shes is more then accomadating.. i wouldnt go anywhere else and recommend julie and this petsmart to anyone!.

I took both my dogs to be groomed they shaved all their hair off and one has 4 skin cuts because they cut him so short. Dont put your dog through this!!!

Kids like coming here to look at the fish and other animals. They have cat adoption at this location. Clearance items are in the back left corner.

Their selection isnt as good as the other Round Rock PetSmart. Its a smaller store.
