Previously I have had great service and nice customer service at this location. Today changed my opinion. Shelves were empty of type of dog food I usually buy. Finally found a vendor who searched out an employee who said I should just buy a different food for my dog, I asked when they might be receiving more (this food was on sale), was told no way of knowing and maybe I should try a different store. Still smiling I selected a different food and patiently waited in one of the two register lines. After all the people in front of me were helped, cashier said "Im sorry Im closed" no closed sign on conveyor belt, no verbal anything until I had waited many minutes in line. I will not spend my money in this store again - my four pets will receive food and other items from online vendors. Most uncaring customer service I have had the displeasure of receiving in quite some time. I left without purchasing anything because the only other line had at least 10 people waiting. Norman, OK Petsmart, shame on you!

An employee named Melody was being rude to a cashier over a mistake at the register. The cashier said I am so sorry after she made the mistake, and said I guess Im just having a bad day and she seemed really sorry for the mistake and Melody just responded you better not be having a bad day and she seemed upset. The customer was not making a big deal out of it at all but Melody seemed very stressed out. I said I dont think we want anybody to have a bad day, and she said well not today especially. After she left I apologize to the cashier that the other lady had treated her like that and she said its ok were down to only 3 people today so shes just stressed. I told her I understand being short-handed because I have worked in retail before but that doesnt give employees the right to speak rudely to other employees in front of the customers. Maybe if this job is too high stress level for Melody she should try working somewhere else.

Great store very helpful staff. This store has great deals when other stores dont! ***UPDATE*** Cant believe this store got even better. Went in today and was having a tough day but while looking at collars Regina came by and saw I was frustrated and helped me find a discontinued item in the sale bin to match the leash I had. She was so kind and helpful. Then Alex saw me at the dog food and when I asked about the current sale I received by text (Im a pet perks member) he escorted me to the register to make sure I got the sale price! You just dont see customer service like that anymore!!

Dog grooming was terrible. Woman struggled with our German Shepherd. She apparently didnt know how to properly lift the legs to clip her nails. The manager kindly offered to help, but we couldnt bare watching anymore. Our poor Heidi wimpered and whined the whole time. We had to take her to the Moore location, which went off without a single hitch. Also, the dog treats here arent as tasty. I know because I try them. I also taste rest the fish food. Also not as good here. And the crickets have a strange aftertaste.

Floor staff runs a hard sell. Ive been there twice with my dog to get training tool(so I can train her.) Both time I was hassled by employees, my dog is very excitable around strangers. The dog got spastic and the employees(both time) lectured me about my dog not listening. I had to be firm and rude to make them stop. On the bright side they had the products I went for and my dog listens to me, I could care less if she obeys the staff.

I hate this store!! I went online and I called the store to make sure what I wanted was in stock. I have to share a car right now so I dont have time for nonsense. I get there and they are out of stock! I flag down this older woman and she takes her gun thing and fixes it in front of me, then she gets pissy with me. I will never shop here again.

They always have what I need, and the location is clean and stocked. The employees are also really nice; I only wish they staffed the registers a little more. The grooming services are also great (Ive taken my little dog a few times), and inexpensive. Definitely prefer this PetSmart over the creepy Petco over by Robinson.

Petsmart is a large pet store, grooming salon, and vet service. It is nice and clean. Its main problem is location. It is my second choice in care for my pets. This being said, it carries anything your pet will need and they do offer obedience classes.

Was buying all our dog food there cause they price matched the online coupons, but manager said he couldnt do it all the time. So why drive over an hour to save 20.00. We always spend over 100.00 when we go, he is very nice man but his loss.

Any time i buy anything on sale here, it never rings up on sale and they always have to send someone back to verify that its really on sale. The cashier was very patronizing when I mentioned the discount didnt ring up last time.

I always enjoy going in and seeing all the new stuff they carry. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. If they dont have exactly what you need they can suggest alternatives or another store that may carry that product. :-)

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they are happy to help. They genuinely care about pets and their parents. They also price match any other store with an ad or a picture of the shelf tag. I love this store!

Keep running out of crickets. First they are responsible for destroying all the legitimate petstores in norman and now they cant even manage to stay in stock with one of the most basic products. Ridiculous.

I adopted a kitten cat and he died in 10 days by parvovirus, I guess other cat in the shops cage has the virus and the shop or the organization (Hands Helping Paws, Inc.) do not check thier health status.

Everyone seems friendly enough but they dont hail out of their way to help you and the store is old, dirty, and dark which is kind of creepy. However, the cat adoption center is excellent!
