Im a local LTC instructor, and I use Armadillo Gun Store & Range for all my qualifications. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. If you havent been yet, I strongly recommend you give them a try. Their pistol range is set up with the targets on pulleys so you never have to go down range to move targets. This makes for a much more efficient (and safe!) shooting experience. Theyve upgraded the range to include fans and heaters to make the shooting experience more enjoyable in a variety of weather conditions. Their range safety officers are very polite, active, and firm, helping teach firearm safety so that everyone is comfortable and following the rules. I have been impressed over and over at their keen eye on the shooting line and how well they handle safety reminders. I enjoyed the range when Carl & David owned it, and I think Austin, the new owner, is doing a fantastic job of preserving what was good and improving where he can. Keep up the good work!

All business, very helpful, very willing to listen to a customer, NOT PUSHY. The physical store does not have much inventory, apparently, but they are very willing to order you something, and have a strong selection of popular items, without a bunch of the usual junk and show pieces. Store was small and neat. Related website has lower prices on many if you already know what you want and want to pre-order. If they have to order something for you, make sure your entire order is in and complete before you purchase. They did not have my complete order, and have not followed up to complete the sale. I wont come back.

I took my dad shooting here today - it was his first time to shoot, and I know he had a lot of fun. I have been to ranges where the staff are unfriendly and terse in their customer interaction - that is certainly not the case here. Everyone we talked to was cheerful, encouraging, and helpful. The range officer was really down to earth and even offered my dad a few helpful tips. Based on todays experience, I would strongly recommend coming here, especially if you are a beginner or if you are bringing a beginner. Ill definitely be back!

Youre just going to want to make the drive out to Caddo mills. The price in gas will be less than the huge overprice that armadillo has on their lanes. I went today to work with my carry weapon and was greeted by a range that treated me (and every other customer) like a child shooting their first rounds. You cant fire shots that arent spaced seconds apart and you cant practice draws. The pistol range is run down and costs $38 to shoot at as a non member. They also have 50 round boxes of 9mm range ammo for $20, Highly overpriced.

I got my CHL at this location and everyone there is super nice and very helpful. I cannot remember the name of the gentle man that gave the class but, he is very knowledgeable and when I have gone back since, he is always so helpful. Thank you all so much, it is a pleasure doing business with people who are so willing to help those that are just starting out with guns and the patience that you have with each question.

Ive seen several reviews of other ranges where the staff was arrogant, rude, and obnoxious; that is not this place. Ive shot 20 or 30 years ago, mostly long guns, so when I decided to get my chl, I thought it a good idea to practice a little before taking the test. This range was perfect for that. Plus, they were open on Sundays, which is often the only time I have for the range.

This outdoor gun range is by far the best I have visited. The range master and the indoor staff where very professional, courteous, and friendly. There was no wait for a Friday morning and we had the opportunity to use both the rifle and pistol range. I would recommend this gun range to any avid or first time shooters. I cant wait to return!

Stopped by Saturday morning to do some hand gun shooting and help a friend break in a couple of new guns. What a great experience. The staff as super friendly and patient. The outdoor pistol range was nice, moderately busy early and was mostly empty by the time we left at 130pm. Will definitely be going back.
