First off, this place is just a restaurant. Theres nothing that screams general store about it. Theres no souvenirs, shirts, postcards, candy, tools or any nick nacks that says, "This is a general store, hear me roar!" I was recommended this place by some family so we decided to try it. You walk in, go past a few tables, and can order food or sweets in the back. When my husband and I came in, we were not greeted at all. We werent really hungry since we ate a late breakfast, so we each got one cookie. A Snickerdoodle and a White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookie. Since we didnt order food, we looked around for signs of a "general store" and left after no avail. We got back in our car, tried the cookies and felt as though we were eating bricks. We paid $1 for each cookie and were very glad we didnt get more. Honestly, if you like waisting your time, breaking your teeth, and possibly killing an animal with a rock thats disguised as food, then by all means, this place is for you! But for the rest of the sane population, just drive by knowing you didnt miss a thing.

I have been a SFA student for four years and I just discovered this jewel two weeks ago! GREAT homecooked food...and their baked potato (BBQ) is my favorite in town! Only mom or grandma can make better sandwiches! Trust me, the food is great, and the atmosphere is the same. (Not to mention the prices are INCREDIBLE for college students like myself)

Found this unique little cafe on Google. I had the Southwest salad. It was awesome!! The baked potatoes looked heavenly! I couldnt decide what to have. Everyone in our group was very pleased with our food! Cant wait to go back!! The staff were very friendly and helpful!

The food tasted great! I didnt care for the menu. It was super confusing and overwelming. Also, their seating is extremely tight. I would not recommend bring small children there. It is cramped but their food tastes good.

Waiting on my oil change, I decided to walk downtown Nac. I am glad I stopped in. The breakfast bagel was delish! Good, crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and savory cheddar cheese on a toasted bagel....one word: mmmmm

Best quick lunch in town, and free fountain drinks for SFA students. Of their sandwiches, the grilled chicken-bacon-swiss and the Rueben are especially good. Fresh baked cookies too.
