I always love H-E-B, I only go here because its convenient. This store is actually very crowded ALL THE TIME! Theres not much parking and never enough registers opened. I do like that they have improved the store a bit here and there. But the teenagers they have at the registers are so annoying. After youve waited forever in line theyre rude offer no greeting or smile and cashiers are constantly talking over your shoulder to their friends at the next register. Its very annoying to be totally invisible as a paying customer. This place definitely needs to be overhauled.

This store is pathetic. it carries fewer national brands and their store brands are inferior to national brands. It is in an area, like most of the Valley, where thousands of Winter Texans reside October through April but they could care less about having things the customers want. If one is health conscious and is used to doing a lot of cooking and baking this is not the store for them. The only saving grace for the Winter Texans and we who now live here is a Walmart Neighborhood Grocery nearby in Weslaco.

Within the last 3 months, I have grabbed & purchased 5 different EXPIRED foods without realizing. The store does a very poor job on switching out inventory. A lot of the times I check & see that its expired, but out of habit, Ive mistakenly (actually this is HEBs mistake) purchased expired: yogurt, salad, orange juice, Naked Juice, salad dressing, etc. etc. Come on people! Get it together.

Not the biggest HEB, but it has the essentials. The lines are usually long and the store tends to be busy most of the time. The produce is always fresh and always has the in season products. Restroom are usually clean and the employees are helpful.
