I dropped by Boss Frog tonight just to get an idea of what they could do for a tattoo that was completely messed up by another local tatt artist, to see if they could either fix or repierce my ears where the old piercings were stretched and old looking, and to price a cartilage piercing. I first spoke with Mondo about my tattoo. He could have told me to sit in his chair and hed fix it. To my surprise, he gave me advice that didnt bring him any cash. I really felt like he wanted what would be best for me. Then, there was Justin. He talked to me about my old piercings and how to make new piercings work best. (I have two other piercings in one ear, and one more in the other). I couldnt believe how much time and attention both of these guys gave me. Justin ended up giving me a cartilage piercing, and Ill go back later for the *replacement* piercings at another date. ....I dont know...I am just so impressed with the customer service. Everybody was so nice. I love the atmosphere and Im what you might consider a somewhat cool old lady. LOL Ill be back for sure. And Justin will work on my ears. Mondo will work on my tattoo. I had some work done by Dexter yesterday. I have some big tribal designs that hes going to completely rework for me. I showed him some photos of some ideas of what I was looking for. Boy, he did not disappoint! He let me know that he didnt have a lot of experience with what I wanted done. I just told him "lets experiment!" And off he went. First, let me say, that when he put the needle to the skin, I literally asked him, "Is that typically how hard you push down?" Because I barely felt it at all!! He has great technique and I knew it was going to turn out great! It turned out way better than we both anticipated! LOL I have a half sleeve on left arm, full sleeve on right. Its a lot of ink. Lets just say that me and Dex will be becoming good friends! Go see him! 5 stars!!

I was very dissatisfied with the professional behavior of one of the shops artist. In response to my dissatisfaction the owner Mel personally contacted me to apologize. Furthermore, Mel went above and beyond to resolve the situation to the extent that I said, "Mel you dont have to do all of that" and he said, "I want to personally make sure this is taken care of". Mel is a stand up guy and very sincere about his customers satisfaction. Boss Frog is a new business and like any new business you have hiccups, but when management responds like Mel does those hiccups are just opportunities to learn how to better serve your customers.

Boss Frog Tattoos is the best place in all of North Texas. The artists are very professional and make you feel very comfortable. Mel, the owner, is an awesome and great guy. Short note here, thank you Mel for your service protecting OUR FREEDOM in OUR USA! Vance did an outstanding job on an old tattoo I had done many years ago and it looks 1000x better than the original. This place is very clean, well lit, atmosphere rocks and there just isnt any other tattoo shops that can even come close to BOSS FROG TATTOOS!! Keep on inking guys and gals!

It must be fate! This shop opened just in time for me to get the tattoo Ive been dreaming of for ages. And boy, did the stars align! My tattoo is so much more than I ever envisioned for myself. I got my first tattoo at boss frog on my 18th birthday. Everyone in the building made me feel extremely comfortable and made the whole time a great experience. Mando did an outstanding job, and talked me through the whole thing. A few months later, I went to boss frog again to get my nose pierced by speed, and once again felt 100% comfortable and confident it would turn out great. It did! I love boss frog and will continue coming for future tattoos and piercings.

Had my second Helix piercing done by Justin yesterday. Such a clean and professional shop. Already set up a time to go back in eight weeks to pick out new earrings - cannot wait! Dexter did the most amazing lotus flower I have ever seen. I walked in with one design and he totally turned it around into something a million times better. For someone that hates needles and pain, he was so good and gentle that I actually fell asleep during some of it. Mostly painless! Im completely obsessed with my new tattoo. Planning on going back for my best friends yay and my mom is even thinking about going to Dexter. Great pricing too!

Dusty helped me get exactly the Tattoo I wanted. He really cared and took the time to talk about it with me, and give some good advice with his 17 years of experience that I would not have thought of. The place is very clean, very nice, and everyone there was very polite and professional. Boss Frog was recommended to me, and I would Highly Recommend them to anyone looking for a Tattoo! This shop is absolutely fantastic. Its clean with a great atmosphere and an awesome staff. Everyone was all smiles the whole time I was there. Dexter did two tattoos for me and did them exactly how I wanted (even though Im insanely particular and made him print out like 4 different stencils). He was fantastic, such a friendly guy. Id recommend this shop to anyone wanting a tattoo done well

No artistry, no skill... Dont waste your time. These guys are simply your run of the mill shop.-maybe worth the $13 Friday the thirteenth tattoo... MAYBE If you like body art, not just a tattoo, then this IS NOT the place for you.. I had Mondo and this guy was a joke. I mean draglines on a small tattoo... EMBARRASSING.... I didnt know better.. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Absolutely love this place! Dexter has been the best tattoo artist Ive ever had. He came in on his day off to do my tattoo since I have such a busy work schedule. He also was the gentlest tattoo artist Ive ever had work on me. The pricing was also super fair and definitely worth the quality of work I received. I will definitely be going back to him!
