I have been shopping at CCA for many years since I work in Lewisville. I have found many good bargains in the past. My concern with CCA these days is that they are suppose to be about helping the needy. Their prices have escalated as the renovations on the store have been done. Everything goes up, I understand, but lately the prices have risen to a point that I feel lower income people, who need help, will not be able to afford it. It gives the impression that its now all about making money...like the big stores. I have seen prices on used clothing that are close to what you can go to Walmart and purchase new for only another couple of dollars. And I know that different people volunteer to come in and work at the store so not sure if they are given a price list to follow or what, but you have 2 items of similar size and make, with 2 compeltely different prices on it...or things that are so out priced that you just shake your head and wonder what they are thinking. I think if they would get back to catering to the people they are trying to help, they would sell a LOT more product and help people who cant afford to shop new at the same time. I dont mean this to sound all bad, becuase it is not. I still find things from time to time that are good bargains and the wednesday senior discount day is GREAT. Of course that is not openly advertised and went for years before I was informed of it. they do good things behind the scenes for a lot of people and for that reason, I will continue to shop there and donate to them.

Although I get the concept of this place, its a thrift store, and some prices do not reflect that so well. Some things are amazing deals you just need to have plenty of time to walk around and look for things. This place is huge and has tons of things to look at. The staff isnt so friendly the few times I have been. (I think many people are volunteers?) Prices fluctuate for example around Christmas time all cups, mugs, glasses, and the sort were 4 for $1.00. Two weeks ago each individual cup or glass was around $1.49. Im not sure how/who determines the prices, but they are set in stone. This place does have a daily discount based on a color system. For example something with a red tag could be 25% off, a blue tag item could be 50%, and a white tag item could be 75% off. The discounts alternate between the colors so you could get a really good deal if the item you want to purchase is discounted at that time.

I love the entire concept of CCA but they failed me in one critical and grave way. In their locked up case I bought a pair of what I thought were Slavatore Ferragamo shoes for $100+... After taking them home and with further research, I found they were counterfeit. . When I contacted, the main manager and stated they were fakes and stated I wanted my money back (with receipt). He stated all sales final. I understand that this is a charity Outpost and for that it is great but to sell counterfeit goods with a price to say they are originals is unethical and illegal. I do understand buyer be ware but this is a simple problem that could have been solved with morality and decency. The one star is for their lack of understanding that their sale goes against all that is Christian... Great charity but soulless ideology.

The quality of the products were what one might expect at a second-hand store. They have lots of variety. I went looking for a washer and dryer. They had some but none were of very good quality. Thats understandable since they can only sell what they are given. This was my first visit and I looked at several things just to get an idea of what they had. What I didnt like was how rude the employees and volunteers were. One girl even followed me around the store watching me closely as I picked up any item. Another lady said something rude to me. I dont understand why I was treated like this. I wont be visiting again.

The lady at the register always try to overcharge Me and once She went as far as calling "cheap" over an $8 dls difference she was trying to charge Me..was told I couldnt get some Nike shoes that just got donated because according to the manager stuff needs to be sent to the store over Main St to get a price tag...then a few minutes later They were gonna sell it to somebody else..I complain about but the next day I saw one of the employees wearing them...so they are being cherry pickers.

Ropa, electrodomésticos, muebles y más cosas, todo usado. Con paciencia y algo de suerte se pueden conseguir cosas realmente buenas y baratas

This location CARROLLTON NOT LEWISVILLE is by far the worst . The housewares section including toys is a disgrace . Yes I understand it is a thrift store but its lacking in cleanliness and organization. Someone needs to spend hours cleaning the junk off the shelves

I just went to an interview and Lee the manager at the store explained it will what the expectations were if I was hired. I think the store is amazing and when people are in need I am sure the store and people who support the store will meet their needs

This thrift store is well priced. Like most thrift stores, it is a hodge-podge and could be a little cleaner, a little more organized....but it is possible to find a lot of value.

Not sure if maybe its a slow month, but this was our go to place for funky furniture. This time, selection was smaller and way more expensive. Maybe a one time deal?

I love the cca. They have a very good selection of stuff from books to toys to clothes to crafts and seasonal merchandise. Some areas could use better organization.

I would give no stars! Rude people, the manager was stuck up, and everything broken and over priced compared to other cca locations. Never shopping here again!!

Can definitely find bargains plus a recent reorganization of the merchandise makes it more pleasant to the eye. Did not have +size clothing, however.

First time to visit here lately. Lots of trash in the aisles and not very much help around. Busy chatting with others in the back.

Organized. Clean. Great thrifty pricing. Should have a better return policy when items are not working or damaged and not visible.

Not my favourite thrift shop but I have found quite a few good things here. Some staff are very nice and others are quite rude.

Its what you can expect from this type of store. Most of the associates are helpful and friendly. Others not so much.
