Today has to be the first time that I was mildly disappointed with the HEB experience. With several people in line with more than 15 items in their carts, it was disappointing to see that there were only two regular lanes open. All while there were 7 hardly used express lanes open. I was perplexed by the notion that the managers on duty werent making the assessment on the floor to make those changes to accommodate the shoppers that were in line waiting by converting a few of those express lanes to regular lanes. To top it off, during the check out process, the gentleman that was helping bag my groceries was called over by the next door cashier to have him go and grab a case of water for the person they had in their lane. Luckily he just had a few things to finish bagging that I didnt say anything, but he was kind enough to quickly finish before leaving.

Although not a fan of HEB in general, locally: hands down the best grocery store. They have varying health foods available from time to time from their central market brand. Organic and Vegan alternatives available also. Usually floor manager is good about opening more lanes during busy times. Monday mornings all the vendors and shelf stockers are working so avoid that time when possible.

I used to live in SanAntonio, Tx. So HEB was my favorite grocery store. Now they have bigger stores that have everything. So its a one stop place where u can now buy many other things besides groceries. I miss it. Unfortunately there isnt one in Bedford, Tx where I live now. But Ive heard theyre coming soon to the Mid-Cities. So itll be great to be able to shop here again.

The store and staff are always great. My only concern is trying to purchase bags of organic carrots or cartons of lettuces (2 of my staples). It seems like way too often from May to November the produce is either already showing signs of spoilage at the store or inedible days before the expiration date. I find it very frustrating...

A more cluttered HEB than some of other Laredo locations. Older perhaps? Entry and exit difficult due to its proximity to a very high traffic.intersection. Typical HEB product selection and quality. Employees helpful, efficient and courteous.

This HEB is the best one in Laredo. It is always clean and the staff are friendly. I have seen the manager walking around many times, making sure all is well, and he is a very friendly guy too. Great place!
