I go to this location as it is the closest to my home. I have a degree in fashion merchandising and have spent the last 15 + years in the retail industry--on both the store & corporate level. Therefore, I tend to be attentive to issues within a retail location. In the past, this Ulta hasnt been my favorite because the store has seemed extremely messy and poorly stocked. I once visited one evening, noticing how messy the shelves were and noticing how a lot of items were not placed back in their proper place. Shelves were badly needing to be restocked/reorganized as there were many shelf/rack empty spaces. Testers were old and gross--not something you would want to try! Staff were also inattentive. I went in the next morning only to find the fixtures in the same condition. It was as if the staff did not clean or maintain the store after closing-- which is a real testament to the strength of the management. I think, however, that management must have changed. Ive seen a real difference the last few times I visited this store. I was just in the store last Friday. While there were quite a few items I was looking for that were, unfortunately, out of stock, the fixtures were well maintained. The shelves looked full, most of the testers were clean, and very few items out of place. Some of the "drugstore makeup" section needed to be restocked and maintained. However, I will say, the staff was very attentive--almost overly attentive! I think some of the staff working that day were reps from various cosmetic brands. A gentleman spent a long time showing me a lot of great products in the IT cosmetics line. While I didnt purchase any of them that day, he did such a great job pitching the products, that Im seriously considering going back to buy the CC cream and/or a palette. If youve been leery of this store in the past, give them another shot. I think they are getting better!

Awful customer service! A womans look is very personal for her. When she routinely buys a product it must be important for her every day look.. A value you clearly dont understand to keep your customers taken care of. Not once did you own your responsibility and help me find solutions to the problem at hand. Maybe if you used the product, then you would have understood its value to me.. It is like a diamond... A once in a lifetime product you wont find anywhere else. Shoving other eye liners into my bag did not help the situation, and was a lazy effort. Finding how to solve the problem, instead of wasting my time and money would have been you doing your job! However, we all know how lazy store employees can be... And thats why I dont work in retail customer service. I actually love pleasing my customers, and doing my job. You should value that in your work too, and figure out how to implement that in your store... bettering yourselves as professionals. Im sure you dont care. Whatever.... I Will not return to this store. Thank you Ulta corporate for resolving my problem over the phone. Thanks to Ulta corporate I will have my eyeliner in a matter of days. And yes, its that good and IT IS that important to me. How does a manager not understand this???????? Unbelievable!!! Btw I came to this store every week for a month and you could not succeed in helping me once? Ridiculous!

I will NEVER go back to this store location again! The customer service, or lack there of, is horrible and incredible rude. I went in to look for a match on the Smashbox foundation when I was currently using Lancôme. I expressed to the reps (since they all huddle together mostly) that the Lancôme wasnt working out for me unfortunately, and I wanted to go back to Smashbox. I was then ridiculed and questioned on whether I was using the right moisturizer and primer because they couldnt imagine why the Lancôme wasnt a great fit for me. I explained to them that I couldnt understand either when Ive tried 3 different primers and 2 moisturizers and still the foundation was cakey and left my face a shiny mess, I then walked away. Much to my surprise, my son, who was with me caught the girls making horrible faces at me behind my back! UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I stormed out and will never return.

"When I do go to this location, Witch I use to be a regular, I usually shop For fragrance and makeup for My girlfriend, At first it was alright, I found that the register ladys were Nice, But the girls around the store Are very annoying constantly looking at me and asking if I need anything and its like every single time I do go here and When I have makeup in my hand They send someone to watch me And track me and follow me around, And they act like there cleaning around but they Keep watching & staring at me..... So when that happens I just look at them and Im like really?.... A male makeup thief? You should respect youre customers and there privacy, Nobody likes being watched and looked at like that, And there not even very helpful, Some gay guy was very rude and acted as if I wanted the makeup for myself and was lying that I was buying for my girl... Like WTF?

I wouldnt even give them a 1 star im sorry not sorry. I just left that place and never going back. I went there after a very hard day of work and i know not looking my best and was made to feel like crap and as one of the make up people there said i looked like a homless person. I never get the help i want from the make up artist or whatever you call them and they look me up and down and at my face and never seem like they want to help me but....they will very much help anyone that looks like them. Im sorry but if i need help u help me or ask of i need any more help cause that is your job. Im nice about it all and tell them what im looking for and they can never help...they must love just standing there doing nothing all day what a life.

I went in to the Ulta salon & specifically asked for ombré hair & I even showed a picture and their "elite designer" gave me highlights with my roots showing basically. I only paid and tipped because I was there for 5 hours until 10:30 pm since the first time my hair did not come out at all like I had asked and she had done it a second time. i did call back the next day and ask if they could fix it and they told me they couldnt fix it unless I paid again. Save your $200. If youre going to go somewhere this expensive and not even get what you asked for you need to go somewhere else!

The worst customer service at any Ulta Ive ever been to. This location is the closest to my house, but I usually go to another location thats 15 miles away to avoid the employees. I am in customer service and I realize that you dont want to deal with people some days, but in my experience if you want to keep your job you should at least be civil. I am fed up with this store and the employees, because I go in every time hoping they will be nicer and it never changes. Luckily the girls at the North Highway 6 store are so nice. Stay away from this store if you can.
