This is by far the worst Lush in Houston. I dont honestly know why it is even still in existence. I have been using lush since it came to the States. I have visited Lush in different cities all over the world. I absolutely love the products. I swear by them to all of my friends, and always give Lush as gifts. My favorite product is the Ocean Salt which is so amazing for your skin. Since there was a Lush at Memorial City mall i go to that one because it is closest to my house. I have had many bad experiences at this location. The employees at this location used to be so fun and enjoyable and they really wanted to show you all the fun stuff and tell you about all of their favorite products. This shop has gone down hill over the past couple years. I dont understand what kind of people work here anymore, the hiring manager must be a complete idiot. The last time I was in there I had to ask one of the employees who looked lost, what the managers name is because I just have to complain about her. When you ask her for samples she SLAMS the sample cup down and sighs like its not her job. She is always standing behind the register. Last year when I was there I heard her talk about her vagina and tampons in the store when I was stocking up on my Honey Shampoo. First of all that is disgusting. Why do employees need to know about this? And isnt that sexual harassment? I was so repulsed by that I bought my shampoo online. She has tattoos all up her arms which are quite beautiful, and actually the only nice thing about her. She tries to rush me out of her store every time I go in and stock up on my facewash. Everytime i go in, i never get a nice hello from anyone. Enough is enough. I will not be back ever again to hear about vaginas, and get samples with an attitude. I now shop at First Colony and Highland Village.

Overall I guess the service was fine. My issue begins when they denied my fiance sale of the products she had chosen because she didnt have her passport for verifying her card on a Debit transaction. When I asked what there merchant policy stated, I got a blank stare. When I explained to them that according to Visa, which enables them to be a merchant, they cant deny a sale based on that criteria. Furthermore, State law also specifically notes that when providing a PIN they cant ask for ID. Also, our bank does not have a policy like that in place either. I was told, "We dont know that". So, as a merchant, they dont even know what rights they have as a merchant, versus the consumer. However still expect me to comply with providing my Identification to a stranger for a sale when no such policy exists in the first place? While also shaming my fiance? We will never come back to location again, in fact, without that there is no reason to come to this mall at all in the future. Just buy something else. If I ever go to Lush again with my fiance, ill bring extra cash, just because their so special.

Awful, embarrassing experience. Came in looking for hair treatment and toner water spray. Didnt even get acknowledged by the staff, didnt get a hair treatment because the staff just kept saying "excuse me" to get around me for other customers, while I sat there wondering if the product I was standing in front of was the one I wanted. Couldnt ask them for help, because they flat out ignored me. I finally found a few things I was looking for and even stood at the counter WAITING TO BUY THEM and didnt get acknowledged. After a few minutes standing at the register, even with a sales associate coming up to weigh a product for another customer, I still didnt even get a "with you in a moment." I finally gave up. Ill just order online. Even people that came in after me were getting service. I dont know why I was being ignored, I was looking at spending money there, but I guess it didnt seem like enough to make their time worth it. I will never go back to this location!!! I also posted this on their Facebook and on Twitter, but that is being ignored too. Seriously, dont go to this location.

Unfortunately another bad experience. I was about to pay with two young children in tow, one of them crying in the pram, and was asked about the picture ID. I dont usually cary my passport or drivers licence with me so I showed them my health insurance card. There is no picture on this as you know. I was very embarrassed and stressed as my baby was frantic at this point screaming his head off and I just wanted to pay and go... I ended up leaving the shop without purchases as I was highly offended by this and lost my patience. As if I look like someone who just stolen somebodys handbag... I have NEVER seen anything like this. I will not be returning to this Lush store again. I like the products but this store is highly unprofessional.

I will not return to this location because of the people who work there. Id rather drive an hour to a different location so I can sample things before I buy. The manager makes up the rules on the fly regarding sampling - you cant have this or you cant try that because we dont "cut solids" ( I asked for a soap sample) or " we want as many people try this product" - so I am not gonna give you a sample! Yes- really makes sense,not! I went to a better location in Houston and they offered me things to try - I didnt have to even ask them. From now on I will order primarily online or drive to a different location,but not this one close to me.

I had a great experience here my first visit. Ashton helped me, and did a few demos with products Id never tried before that I ended up buying. He listened to the fact that Im vegan, and steered clear of anything with honey or eggs whites in it, and had a good nose for which scents I would like given the couple of products I already had that I enjoyed. I think every other employee in the store also said hi, complimented my hair, made conversation. No one was pushy, it was nice and clean and amazing smelling, and I felt like I could trust what they told me about the products. I left with a few samples!

Extremely disappointed with my experience today at the Lush Memorial location and will shop only Highland Village or other locations from now. Super sad that I will not visit this location anymore due to the poor customer service I recieved. I spend hundreds of dollars here each year, my husband always buys me their biggest gift each Christmas. I hope you all at Lush Memorial will improve on your customer approach or you will continue to send your biggest customers away.

Such a great experience while shopping here. My sister told me she was washing her hair with a bar soup and I thought she was crazy. Today she took me to lush and I just went crazy about it. They have so many fresh and wonderful soaps, lotions, shampoos and other products. The ladies there are so helpful and I was so pleased with the whole experience. Definitely coming back soon. I cant wait to try everything from you guys.
