I have donated countless items to Bluebird, thousands of dollars worth. I asked about consignment in my last visit and got the instructions and forms. I returned several months later with several large items, at the appropriate date/time for consignment. I was told there was a new policy of accepting consignments by appointment only. Despite the fact that the women there knew me, from the countless times I donated, despite the fact that I was there with the furniture and told them I had hired a man to help me bring it over, they would not make an exception to their new policy. I will never again donate or consign to Blue Bird. Short sighted and hateful approach by Blue Bird to a loyal patron of theirs who has donated countless dollars to them.

This is my most favorite resale shop in the whole world! Ive read the other reviews and have to agree, it is more expensive than other resale shops, but its because the merchandise is a far better quality. Much of the items found in the store has come out of very well-to-do homes, and the original price much, much more than the price tag on it at Bluebird Circle Resale. If you have exquisite taste, but a limited budget, or just like to stumble on great finds, you owe it to yourself to visit this shop. I never know what Ill find when I walk in. It changes every week.

I was not that enthused going into the Blue Bird. My Grandmother always would tell me good things about this place, but again, it was years ago when she would go there. The prices are outrageous for a resale shop. If you are looking for a quality antique, you could find one here, but would be better off going to an antique shop and buying the merchandise. They have items, that would be found in a garage sale for $1, priced at $10 and higher. I had to laugh at some of the things that were priced in there.

Meh. There are far better shops with even better customer service. Yes, they are overpriced and charge double what any other thrift/charity shops but they have to considering everyone there is a volunteer and are open only 5hrs out of the day. Service is very slow, even if only one person is behind you and thats because they need two women to man the register...again...they are all volunteers with little knowledge of how to maximize profits for a charity.

I love to look at the wonderful merchandise but, think the prices are too high for used items. I think that the volunteers price based on the first markdowns at exclusive boutiques and retails; prices they dont mind paying. Blue Bird also needs to double check the cleanliness of the clothing they receive from their consignors. I have found nice pieces that are stained or have holes.

This is one of my favorite thrift shops. Yes... the prices are higher than somewhere like Goodwill... but that is because the clothes are of a much higher quality. Most of the stuff I get there is brand name... banana republic, express, loft, etc. I shop here for business clothes that we can actually wear to work... rarely find that at other thrift shops.

Love it. The prices are high, but the quality of the furniture is excellent; and you have to buy when the item has been reduced (they reduce the price after being on the floor for a certain length of time), if the item hasnt sold before the price reduction.

Offerings are mostly of the traditional/mama variety. Think: used Gallery Furniture. Hipsters and midcentury enthusiasts will be disappointed. Pricier than I expected. Guild Shops on Dunlavy is comparable, but with a bit nicer selection and higher prices.

Shop and feel good that the money goes to a great cause. While the items can sometimes be overpriced, the tags include dates when the price will drop. However, from past shopping, if you like it buy it now otherwise youve most likely missed your chance.

Well run resale shop where every item is a gem. I found an oak side table that is sturdy much like used to be made. I would certainly come back for quality furniture. They also have memorabilia and quality costume jewelry.

This shop has been a family tradition for generations. Yesterday I found the volunteers snobbish and the prices high. I was visiting family from out of town, dont know if I will make the effort to stop by this store again.

I love visiting this thrift shop. Its kept clean, the merchandise turns over at a good pace, but you always can still find bargins. And youre supporting a good cause. Put this on your Houston thrift shop tour.

Great place to go primarily for furniture and house wares. Good for bargain hunting. Some items a bit overpriced; but then again others are a steal. Its all the luck of the draw. Friendly staff.

Hit or miss, but they get a lot of items in the store. The cost of the items goes down significantly the longer it has been there. They also have clothing, glassware, and art.

If you happen to pass by, and notice its open (they keep weird hours), pop in and give it a shot. There are some (not all) great deals. AND youre helping a charity. Win-Win.

Being a 100% disabled veteran, a dear friend showed me this place to get my husband clothes. He loved every item I brought home and was absolutely impressed.

Came to donate a table but the lady had a crap attitude and said the table was too big. People at donation centers are supposed to be nice!

Great prices and nice selection of shoes and clothing for women. Was a little let down because they did not have any children clothing.
