Highly dont recommend, I took a 3rd generation air loom oil field derrick ring with 1/4 carats , very heavy in 18 carat gold. I made the mistake of not having Michael weigh it and verify the diamonds were real. I wanted the ring squared . Two weeks later... Michael gave me my ring back and the band was obviously bent and a diamond was broke.The diamonds were verified. 4 days later, the band was straightened but the broken diamond was replaced with a fake. Michael told me that the diamond detector is irrelevant . I was promised the fake would be replaced but wasnt 3 days later.As I was waited on by the security guard. If I would have known these guys werent Gentlemen, I never would have taken Grandfathers ring in to be modified and I truly believe it came back lighter in gold also. I cut my loses and took my ring . Lesson learned never take jewelry to a pawn shop and only let a certified gemologist do work on personnel heirlooms.

I have spent a tremendous amount of time searching for a jeweler that would appraise my jewelries at a reasonable price. I only wanted a verbal appraisal since my objective is to sell my jewelries personally to friends and family so a formal appraisal was not required. Most charges by the hour for verbal appraisal and I find it unreasonable to pay someone a hefty price for minimal work. Until I found Houston Jewelry Buyers. The owner charged me $0 to appraise several pieces of my jewelries. It was surprising to know that someone still charges free in this world for something that could potentially be a money making part of the business. Even though I was not a paying customer, they provided me a service like I was a regular high paying customer. I highly recommend this place. Everyone was very accommodating and the service was excellent.

This is the last place I came to after getting quotes on my set of wedding bands. Almost didnt stop, but so glad I did. It wad the only place willing to buy my rings including the small diamond, which I have no need to keep. I want the whole set gone. The gentleman that helped me was also able to tell me more about the diamond than even the most reputable and most advertised jewelry buyer I went to previously. I walked out of here happy and would definitely do business with them again. Great selection for sale as well.

I bought a Bulgari from Victor last week and it was a great transaction. They have a good selection of Rolexes with some cartiers, breitlings and other swiss watches sprinkled in there. Prices are reasonable...lower than retail and right around wholesale. They also stand behind their watches which is rare for a "loan" type place. Most of the watches seemed to be detailed as well. Very highly recommended if you are in the market for a preowned high end watch.

Came up here on recommendation from a friend when I was in the market for a watch. I spoke with Mike and he was very knowledgeable about his watches and current market values. I fell in love with 2 of them one Rolex and one Cartier couldnt make up my mind so he made it easy and gave me a deal I couldnt walk away from so I purchased both of them. Even better when I found I have a 3 year warranty.

This shop will rip you off, i came in with 22k 99.9% gold chain 20gm weight, the guy doesnt even test and says he will pay 430$, guy(victor) says he can just tell by looking got 580 and 670 offers just a block from there by nazars from the folks who tested. Total low ballers, all reviews are from family members and friends, find some other place

Great place to sale your Jewelry. Victor is a very knowledgeable person and very professional. Ask for (Victor ) him if you need anything when it comes to buy or selling your Diamond or gold. I will recommend this place to anybody else they also have a security guard sow dont be scared of the parking lot..

The guy who owns/runs the place is an arrogant jerk. Very condescending in his tone and completely low balls offers. Specific example: offered 3k for a watch that his BETTER known competitor (with a much better reputation) offered 5k.
