Yesterday, Friday about 8pm, after a hard day working, I tried to find sth vegan in Dunn Brothers Cafe, S Friendswood Dr, TX 77546, and to uploud an important file from the internet. I tried to get to know if the Veggie Sandwich is vegan or vegetarian... The shop assistant seemed totally disoriented and couldnt answer my question, but working her hands long and ostentatiously round her deep cut neckline of the clumsy t-shirt, like the sweat upon her fingers could maybe give me more appetite (unless itll get the WTH question out of my mind)... I am not a lesbian nor play these games with the strangers, so indeed started to wonder if to go to a Starbucks... but working the lazy fingers round her neckline and watching my eyes obstinately in a way: "May I be the piece of a cake instead ?..." (when I felt like screaming: "Get the hell filth out of your brain, if only theres one in there...") ...she called the other tho workers for help... but they had no clue if the bread is vegan... I wondered: "Ok girls, I try to manage the decision..." I was tired and needed to download the file, I looked at the bread kind (well..... yeah......) and took the Veggie Sandwich with the thought: Ill get some organic later on... I sat down and hardly opened the Wifi and the website when one of the bar workers called loud if I want some water... I hate tap fluoride water, and have problem ordering a drinks with the very toxic poison (hard to find anything in a bar based on a spring water) but I thought: "Well, maybe she tries to be kind....." I said, actually not, I do not want the water (not explaining to her the reasons why...) But when two minutes later, right when she had a 3 customers who just arrived waiting for the order and I tried to find an important order online while my file was getting uploaded, the blonded girl again calls out loud if to take my plate, like she wants the whole cafe to hear... I said peacefully but audibly: "Do not get too stressed, I just arrived like an 8 min ago...." She was shocked I dare and she commented it with something I couldnt really hear but I heard the final loud call "HOW RUDE!!!" ... Was it ?... ...Or bothering the new customer who just arrived and hardly opened the Wifi a 2 times in a 4 minutes time is maybe lacking the empathy, grace and an imagination totally... When you work the whole day and then try to have a snack in one peaceful moment, would you like to have them working the clumsy t-shirt round the deep neckline cut and staring at you like for some sake youre satanic lesbian maybe... and so you forget the sandwich content for the center of the attention should be her provocation (well, this could work on some imbeciles, tho...)... or calling to you from the bar when youre already down on the seat and wonder if you ever come back to the bar you just visited first time ever... after moving to the area... Maybe sharing with the Dunn Brothers staff some books with the basics of Savoir Vivre could help to manage some manners and an emotional intelligence... but next time Ill try to take a mile more to the near Starbucks... I love to write a good reviews and a compliment, but this was the taste of a chaos and I even wonder if the sandwich there (the unknown and made behind the scenes) is safe anymore... May this opinion, girls, help you manage your style and some intelligent manners, and help you indeed. Sincerely, Your Fridays Customer.

The coffee is good but the customer service is horrible. Everytime I come here I am either not greeted, not told my total, or they just dont say anything to me at all while I am giving my order. They rarely smile. I cant tell if they are nervous dealing with other people or just hate working there. The evening staff has their friends come in and thats the only time they are friendly or smile or show any sort of enthusiasm. And its only to their friends. I was in there one time and they were helping their friends and they were being super outgoing and friendly of course, but then it was my turn and the guy acknowledged me by nodding his head. There was no other interaction. Other than looking at me to nod, he never made eye contact, no please and thank you, no smile, nothiiiiiiing. Then he went back to being all social because another one of his friends was behind me. They only show good service to their friends. I always feel so uncomfortable when I order.

If you want a change of pace from the usual Starbucks, check out Dunn Brothers Coffee in Friendswood. Just like any other coffee shop, they have their own flavored roasts and the different varieties of hot and cold coffee (and non-coffee) concoctions. I tried their dark roast brewed coffee and I enjoyed it. It was good, and not overly roasted tasting. It definitely wasnt as strongly flavored as Starbucks dark roast, but it was very balanced and good. Its perfect for those who dont prefer their coffee to have that burnt taste. They do have lunch and snack items on hand as well. The staff is friendly, the shop is spacious inside, and they have ample amount of shaded outdoor seating. Its ideal for hanging out in groups on a nice day.

Great environment and place to meet, study, or chat. I ordered a smoothie and it really wasnt good. I give the smoothie a 2/5. The outside fan blades need replacement but they have covered outside seating and thats awesome. Also has a drive thru. Ive also had some sandwiches here in the past that were not inpressive by far. Im not a big coffee drinker and havent had any of their coffee but ny girlfriend loves it. In accord with her the coffee was 4.5/5 As a food and drink place its not great. As a coffee and chill place, perfect. I still love the place and will be going back.

We love Dunn Bros. when were in the mood for expensive coffee/fast breakfast. My favorites are the sausage croissant and some variation of cold press coffee -- sometimes plain, sometimes with cream, and then the occasional decadence of the Vanilla Iced Nirvana. Ive been coming here off-and-on for over four years now, and Ive never been inside. The drive-thru line can get backed up, but it rarely ever completely stops, so just be patient. :) Two Vanilla Iced Nirvanas and two sausage croissants will run you about $23.00 before tip. The drive-thru baristas are always friendly.

The place is nice as are their baked goods. It is a great place for my bible study to meet. I will say this though, do not get the frappe they are disgustingly gross and they are charging almost the same price as Starbucks. I did like the outside part of the establishment just watch out for the young kids that come to hang out. They speak foul language at the top of their voice and my small children, twins who are 5, looked at me like oh my gosh. Dont drink their frapees, they are premade nastiness.

If youre going to compare this place to $tarbux, Dunn Bros blows that chain out of the water! If youre looking for cheaper coffee, youll be disappointed, though...prices are somewhat similar. For this coffee drinker, its worth it! I usually swing by the drive thru on my way to work, but Ive been waiting for a nice, brisk fall evening to enjoy the live music they have there while sipping on a warm latte. The people that work there are great and friendly, too. This place is a new Friendswood treasure!

Great place to hang out. Thats important because its hard to find a place to get some studying done in Pearland. They have a nice little selection of foods but I wouldnt call it anything other than a café. The staff is super friendly and although you get people of all ages here, there is a wide percentage of younger college students, etc. I go here frequently for studying. They also have live local music on some weekend nights.
