My brother and I were juggling down in Sundance square, we were not bothering anyone, stayed to ourself just practicing in this beautiful environment. A cop came up to us to make sure we werent taking any money and ask why were we filming. Simply said its for personal use and we are just practicing, the cop said that was completely fine. 20 minutes into our practice spot a security guard comes up to us and tells us we have to stop, that we were a liability... for what? Dropping a hacky sac on concrete? The security guard then said, well I guess I cant say anything about the side walk, thats public property (5 feet away) yall can juggle there, (where you know, people walk) was really disappointed because I spent a good amount of money down there and still get kicked out. I guess all you can do in Sundance square is sit and walk. I may go back and do a few cartwheels, and see what the policy is with that. Called the square manager And she told us we were "taking away what the square has to offer (they have fountains that shoot from the ground) thats about it. Not to mention everyone was Really enjoying watching. Make this place more friendly to actuall fun things. Its 2017

Walked to Razoos from the Sheraton and had a wonderful, well priced meal. We walked back through the square with several friends and stopped to take some photos. I am a balloon artist and the kids wanted a balloon there were 9 kids in our group so i pulled out some balloons and began to make them each one. I also made a couple for some other folks that came by because the children wanted one. An officer came over and asked what I was doing and I said making the kids some balloons. He asked if I was charging for the balloons and I told him I was not the we were in town for a convention and I was doing them for friends. He stepped back and informed me that I had put him in a dilemma. I asked if I was doing something illegal and was told I wasnt. I asked if I was doing something wrong and was told he didnt know. He then told me that I needed to step into the street and twist the balloons because I was not approved by the square. This would prevent any action. I have to say it has given me a good bit of comedy material for my routine. I may return if I need more comedy. We were also warned about taking pictures in the square. I thought it was a joke, but it wasnt.

THIS IS FOR THE WATER FOUNTAIN. Parking is free on the weekends! A short walk and you are in the middle of fort worth. Many wonderful places to eat and to choose from plenty of different price ranges as well. Visited the fountains that they had.. They have so many rules it completely ruined the experience. Children must wear street clothes to get in the fountain. Even toddlers who cant walk have to wear street clothes if it looks anything like a swim/water outfit any of the 4 security guards will come over and have a talk with you. (we had 3 different guards "talk" to us in the hour we were there once because a 1yr toddler wearing a one piece tutu looked to be wearing a swimsuit and they had to make sure) The fountains are sporadic we waited 10min for them to turn on, 2min on, and then off again for 5. The sun is not kind and there is no shade. Youd have a much better time going anywhere but here for kid water fun. I will not go back to this fountain. Waste of time.

Work nearby so have enjoyed it many times. Great place to eat lunch outside and people watch, usually music is playing and the fountains are on. The best times are Christmas when the tree is up and Fall when ESPN is broadcasting bringing lots of fans and excitement. Security is present and Fort Worth people are awesome so it is a friendly place to hang out. PARENTS : Security will quickly ask you to get your kids out of the large fountain area that rises out of the concourse. Seen them swoop in every time. Shame because it is tempting and fun for the kiddos but I get it, it wasnt intended to be a pseudo water park. Fort Worth is bike friendly, not always bike aware though. However, I dont think you can use a bike, skateboard, skates on the concourse either. Enjoy!

Visiting Square Dance Fort Worth with the family my little girl of only fourteen months played inside the square of the water fountains, which at the moment were turned off you could only see the lights on inside the water droppings, we did not expected the water fountains to suddenly catch on. This uniformed woman approached us and told my little girl (GET OUT) with that ugly looking and racist hate that she showed, we walked away from her. She walked around the area and walking close to me I could feel that ugly look towards me from head to toe. What an unpleasant moment. "This is a message for you, Woman before putting on a uniform please learn manners to get respect"

Why do I love this city? Its quite simple really. Let me explain... I took my first breath in this city. Born just down the street from this very spot. I said my first words, took my first steps, lost my first tooth in this city. My first boyfriend, my first kiss, and my first broken heart were here, in this city. I found my soul mate, got married, and had our first child in this city. I went half way around the world twice, and each time I couldnt wait to come back home... to this city. Though my siblings were born and raised here, they, along with my parents, all moved away. Yet I stay. Because its my home. I told yall it was quite simple

Huge open gathering area with water features for a lot of family fun! Covered seating area so you can relax and really enjoy the stress-free Downtown Vibe of Fort Worth! Way too many fantastic food selections to list hre, but it ranges from inexpensive to 5 star dining and they also have a great little Starbucks in the Square! This place has something for everyone. You will find it is always clean and very well maintained...and YES that includes the restrooms. Also you will see a lot of security and police presence...safe and secure feeling for everyone. Just bring the whole family downtown and enjoy a great little get -away!

This is a gorgeous city-center plaza with many year-round events, including musical performances on the small stage. There is a crew constantly working on cleaning up the area and several businesses on the edge of the square including an upscale cafe, a Jamba Juice, and a Starbucks. There are interesting heliotropic shades which are very large and when folded up vaguely resemble a large, closed umbrella. Also, many families bring their children here to run in the fountain. This is a wonderful area for a simple coffee and chat whether you are visiting Fort Worth or just want a nice place to chill and people watch.

I always enjoy going to Sundance Square. I have been here as early as 12pm and as late as 2 or 3 am, and people are enjoying themselves. Cops riding around in bicycles. Perfect lighting. I always feel safe even if I were to be by myself. Kids also have a great time running around either on the water area or on the stage area. There are restaurants and entertainment all around, conveniently withing walking distance. Weekends parking is mostly free, if not completely. And weekdays I believe is free after 6. Is a fun place to go with your significant other, family and/or friends!!
