Came in with a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses, for which I wanted prescription lenses made. I was assured the glasses would look the same, down to the "exact" lens color. I was quoted an hour, but was called later and told better materials were needed and to come in the next day "anytime after 2pm." At 2:15 the next day, I was told the glasses would be ready "in twenty minutes." I left and came back at 3pm, and my glasses were just being worked on. When I finally got them, the lenses were visibly falling out of the frames. I pointed this out to the proprietor, who took the glasses from me without getting off the phone and brought them back to the work area. They were then returned by her assistant, and looked exactly the same. She explained that my prescription required thicker glass, and I could purchase polycarbonate lenses for a price increase (and further delay, of course). I pointed out this could have been explained to me when I dropped off the glasses in the first place, and asked that my original (non-prescription) lenses be put back in the frames. The lenses now have small scratches all over one of the lenses. During the entire exchange, the proprietor never got off the phone, all while several other customers were waiting. I now have glasses in worse condition than when I walked in, and wasted a day and a half with repeated visits to "Hour" Glass Optical.

Super sweet and proficient here. Walked in and asked to repair my glasses (hadnt purchased from this store) and Veronica was more than happy to help. No questions asked. She fixed and let me try on about a dozen times until it was perfect. Kathy was also there and seemed to have a great relationship with the customers that came in. First-name basis style. Seemed very welcoming. Ill be coming here next time I need to buy a pair, thats for sure. Thanks again!

I had not had my eyes checked for over 6 years. I was referred by my brother and couldnt of been more pleased. The Dr. Is the most sweetest and caring. He made sure my glasses fit perfect when I arrived to pick them up. Sat down with me and measured and adjusted what he needed too. I will definitely be back for all my eye care needs. Oh, oops almost forgot his front office staff is the cherry on top. Keep up the good work guys!

Great optical shop, beyond friendly, accommodating, very quick and I had no idea the eye puffer machine is a thing of the past. Glass Optical has a little stick they hold next to your eye thats painless and much better than having a machine blow a puff of air onto your eye to measure pressure. I will be back and I highly recommend for anybody needing an eye exam to check this place out, it was very affordable.

I spent $500+ dollars on a check up, frames, and slight prescription lenses. You would think after spending that much money, theyd have the decency to return an email of mine inquiring about something else. Horrible customer service, imagine how many other customers theyve overlooked/ignored. Its the principle of the matter, youre not busy enough to not respond to a customers inquiry.
