My daughter and I have been patients of 20/20 Sight of Lakewood for a few years now, and up until today, our experience has been superb. However, the optician named Chelsea Rhodes who answered my call today just HUNG UP ON ME after refusing to answer my questions about pricing for frames and lenses. I understood that I have some copays with my daughters current insurance plan, and I also understood that her insurance covers up to $200 toward glasses. This is my first time working with my daughters new vision benefits, and I was a little confused about whether the $200 kicks in AFTER the copays or along with them. I asked a few questions to try to better understand my total costs. Ms. Rhodes interrupted me, told me "it was really simple," and she didnt want to explain anymore, and when I kindly asked for her patience in helping me to understand how it worked, she told me I just needed to come in and ask in person, that she was busy with patients, and just wasnt going to answer my questions. Then she said she wasnt going to "play into what I was doing" (whatever that means) and actually hung up the phone!! Im really disappointed because the level of service Ive received at 20/20 Sight up until today has just been stellar. Theres another optician there whose name I unfortunately cant remember who has been so kind and patient with me and my daughter. And the doctors are wonderful. But now I feel like I have to find another optometrist, because I cant really accept being spoken to in such an unprofessional and condescending tone, and I certainly cant accept being hung up on by a business Im trying to support. Im not sure how long Ms. Rhodes has been working at 20/20 Sight, but I feel for the doctors there if she treats other patients this way. Im afraid their business will suffer, as I dont think hanging up on inquisitive patients is an acceptable or reasonable practice, and I think its going to cost them in the long run to have such an unpleasant and unfriendly person on their staff. Frankly, Im kind of in shock that it happened. Im a really nice person, and Im pretty smart, and I wasnt rude or difficult in any way. I was just trying to gain an understanding so I could accurately anticipate the costs. Its really a shame that Ms. Rhodes behaved in this way and gave me such a bad impression of this business. I hope she doesnt do this to other patients, because frankly, it was pretty upsetting.

I really enjoyed my experience here! Its weird to say that about an eye exam, but I have never felt more comfortable with the entire process. The aura of the office was calm and warm. Literally everyone was nice and helpful. Dr. Rodriguez was so patient and explained every step of the exam which was awesome because I hadnt had an eye exam in a few years. I especially enjoyed the optician (I think her name was Chelsea) who helped me find the perfect pair of glasses for my face shape. Ive been to other places that wouldnt help with that at all, and it always made me feel like I walked out with the wrong pair of glasses. Im actually happy to receive my glasses from here in a couple of weeks. Im excited to keep going to this office in the future!

From my very first encounter with 20/20 it was a frictionless, pleasant experience. It was easy to make a appointment and they worked me in ASAP. I filled out a patient profile online to keep from having so much paperwork on arrival. This online form was ready and waiting when I arrived. I was early and they saw me early. Each and every staff member that I encountered was superb, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Rodriguez took her time, and didnt see rushed. She explained each step of the way and listened to all of my concerns. Chelsea, the awesome Optician, was also patient and worked with me and the insurance to find the right fit. I would recommend 20/20 to anyone in need of an eye doctor or glasses!

This has been the most pleasant eye exam & experience Ive ever had. The staff was very polite and attentive. Each staff member took their time to explain what they were doing or what they would like to do. The clinic was very clean and the selection of frames were amazing. I referred this clinic to my best friend who loved it as well and we both left very happy and satisfied. They have topped the patient customer service experience!

I recently had my first visit to 20/20 at Lakewood. I was so impressed by the cleanliness of the office as well as the professional staff. The doctor was great. He listened to my concerns and made sure I was happy before leaving. I also got to pick out a great pair of designer glasses that I just love. The staff helping me pick out the glasses made it fun and helped me pick the perfect pair! I will be a long time patient!

Ive been going here for two years for all my contact, glasses, and exam needs. The team is personable, professional, and exceptionally helpful when explaining all the options for insurance and ordering. Scheduling is easy and the exams are quick and easy. Dr. Rodriguez is thorough and attentive. Molly is so patient when trying on frames and explaining insurance. This is a great team and Id recommend them to anyone!

I had the best experience for my first time visiting the new Lakewood office! It is so nice and tidy and brand new high tech equipment and the staff was so professional and kind! And Dr Hebda was amazing! I just wanted to hug his little neck! I cant wait to go back next year or when I get an itch for some Tiffanys sunglasses!
