Firstly, im gonna have to say that DONT EVER GO TO THIS GROOMING HERE!! Immature groomers and unprofessional manager will rip your money off!! After what they have done to my dog, ill never go back here again!!! Id like ZERO star option. I have been a very loyal pet smart customer since I started to have my dog for the last four years. I used to be a Banfield vet customer as well. Most importantly, I take my dog grooming to Per Smart! From Portland OR to Dallas TX, I took my dog to each location and was always happy with their service, UNTIL I moved to Austin TX and took her to this grooming service..... I was asked if she needs ear and teeth cleaning but no extra charge was mentioned. Their grooming price is about $43 and they added about $22 in addition as somewhat called "premium", which I wasnt explained what was premium. Okay, I paid $22 more than I usually pay, but I didnt complain about it until I saw their result. They are scammers and unprofessionals! The groomers said that since "my dog screamed", she and he didnt complete the face part. As you can see in the pictures, her body hair was very short, but FACE! So ugly! What about other groomers in other locations, they have done perfect jobs. However, only here at this location, they didnt complete jobs including teeth cleaning, ear cleaning, or face haircut, and charged me full and premium price. Even no apology for not completing their service. No humble attitude! I think it can be so simply concluded that these groomers just dont have skills. Period. I ended up with cutting her face hair and cleaning teeth and ears by myself and it was not hard at all, as you can see. I called and talked with a Pet Smart manager at this location for a refund, and she wasnt even feeling sorry for their poor service and impolitely telling me that "you can bring your dog to us back, if you want". She didnt offer me refund. Whats wrong with these people. They are not trained in both business and grooming skills. They think that finishing only a body part is acceptable to charge a full price. I would like reduced price for the grooming and full refund for the premium because I dont see anything premium. It is worse than normal grooming, seriously. Im very disappointed on their quality of customer service. Please compare these pictures. The one with long hair on face is Pet Smarts and short one is my grooming skill. Dont bring your pet to this Pet Smart grooming service! They will rip your money off!!!

Horrible customer service. Or rather, no real service at all, to be honest... Clueless and rude people. Bad living conditions for the animals there, too. First went there for Cichlids. Asking questions was impossible; the only fish they could correctly identify were Oscars- literally every other fish in the store had been mis-labelled/portrayed as something else entirely. Their living conditions were...disgusting. Tanks spacious, but filthy. Heres where the experience ended up being nasty... I am a local bicyclist. I go everywhere with my bicycle. Its a 7 mile trip to this Petsmart, and I decided to take it, as I had interest in buying a specific fish there long after starting up my original Cichlid tank. I arrived at the store. Picked out my fish. Approached the woman working there, and asked for help; a man interrupts me, and she cuts me off, and goes to help this man. I wait 20 minutes for her to come back, only to discover that she, along with the rest of the staff, has disappeared, with the exception of a girl playing games on her cellphone at the checkout up front. I ask this woman for help, and she says shell send someone over. I go back, wait. No one comes for half an hour. Finally, I see another worker, a young man carrying a messenger bag, and go to ask for help in buying my fish. He says Fine, and I walk with him back to the fish area. INSTEAD OF HELPING ME, as Ive been waiting for well over an hour at this point, he approaches an older woman and offers to assist her instead. As I speak up, this woman interrupts me, and she picks out the ONE. GODDAMN. FISH. I have been trying to buy for the past hour. At this point, I am well past done. I speak up and inform the man that it was a long ride to get there, and that I had been waiting for well over a ludicrously rude amount of time just to be serviced, only to be consistently ignored and disrespected. I say that I was there specifically for that fish. His response? Well uh, too bad. Goodbye. Mmmm.... Great people. Really.

We are DONE here. First, let me say that I respect groomers and the work that they do. It cannot be an easy job and they dont make a ton of money, so I try to practice patience - but not here, not anymore. I have been coming to this location for over 5 years, but today was the absolute worst and we will not be back. I made my appointment for Mary as I try to keep my consistent with the same groomer. However, when I picked up my dog, she had been groomed by Dawna. When I got a close look at Abby, I noticed that her fur had brown flakes in it. Um, OK. I brushed them with my hand nd they seem to come out easy enough. Well then, I look at my dogs ears and they were filthy!! Like they had not been cleaned at all! I asked Dawna about this and she said that the flakes were from Abbys skin and where she had been scratching. I was like, What? This stuff is dry and comes right off! You bathed her, right?? And what is what is with her ears? Did you clean them?? She says she did by Abbys ears were oozing brown stuff and needed to be checked by a vet. Funny how you did not put ANY of that on my comment card. And I am sorry, but this looks like you just did a half-assed job in cleaning my dog. Because you are saying that you thoroughly cleaned my dog, but she just got filthy again in the last hour as I came to pick her up?? I call B.S. Now, my dog is older and Im not saying she is perfect by any means. But this was simply a poor job. Case in point, when I got home, I brushed her coat and brown flakes came right out. Also, I used baby wipes to clean her ears and brown gunk - gone. And guess what, three hours later and NO GUNK! Please, lots of better groomers in this area. Please join me in going to them instead. After much turnover in groomers, poor morale, work ethic and attitude, and now integrity - I have had enough.

If I could give 0 stars then I certainly would. I have always had my dog groomed at Petsmart. Mind you it was always the Round Rock location. I would discourage anyone in taking there dog here. I have a long haired dachshund. Dachshund are prone to back problems. Mine however has not had any issues for over 5 years. I showed the lady that I checked in with exactly how to pick him up and to be gentle as I didnt want his back to act up. I dropped him off at 8:15 AM. I told her i would pick him up at 1 on my lunch break. She said that was fine and stated she was not sure why Matthew his groomer was not in yet. I did call around 11 and was told he wouldnt be ready by 1 but I was fine to pick him up after work. I stated I didnt want to leave him that long and he said he would call when he was ready. I never got a call. So after work i went to get him. He wasnt his usual excited go lucky dog that he is usually when i pick him up from round rock. I just thought that he had a long day and maybe just tired. Friday he slept most of the day when Saturday came I called and talking to the grooming manager. She as well told me maybe he was just tired and overwhelmed but she would check with the groomer and call me that day. Did I get a call back nope not at all. I did call the store that next work week. They had me make an appointment for Banfield and take him in. Somehow he had hurt his back and neck. They gave me meds and sent me on my way. A week later he is still not better. I took him back and had to get different meds. I will never truly know what happened but unless you want a costly visit then I suggest taking your animal somewhere else. WHATEVER YOU DO MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT GET MATTHEW. I will be contacting the GM, BBB, and whoever else. I just want my happy go lucky dog back.
