I went in in April of 2015 with a return on a finish nailer that had a broken trigger mechanism. The gun came in a combination set from Porter Cable including three nail guns and a compressor. I had the receipt, but the set was purchased for me as a gift around Christmas time and so the sale price then was lower than it was when I returned. I called ahead of time and spoke with a superb manager, Rebekah, and although my "grace period" had expired, she was empathetic to my case and willing to do something and try and get me a gun in working condition. At first we thought we could simply fix the trigger issue if I brought in the gun and the rest of the components. When that failed to happen Rebekah issued me a brand new Porter Cable 16 ga. Finish Nailer in exchange for my broken one. It was the best thing that could have happened and every other Home Depot that I called told me I could bring it in but I would have to pay for the shipping to the manufacturer and pay for the replacement part myself. Of course that may be the way to do it but you would think that a large corporation like Home Depot would do whatever simple measures they could to keep the customer happy, especially when they are being reasonable themselves. This home Depot has friendly and dutiful staff and I have been make numerous times since this experience and recommend their service to others.

I used to think that this store was the greatest! They were always so nice and helpful. Up until I ordered some custom windows that they messed up on and no one wants to accept the responsibility. They are trying to blame us and they say that we signed the papers so tough luck, basically. They are expensive round picture windows that were supposed to be glass you could see through from one side but not the other side. They are going to be put in by a jacuzzi tub in a bathroom. So now we are going to have big round picture windows that you cant see in or out of. I am so upset by this and will file a complaint through Better Business bureau also. They are even stating that we never said we wanted the windows that we could see out of. My husband and I were both sharing this information to them and told them exactly what we would like. We stated we have a beautiful view that we would like to be able to enjoy. We even asked before we signed the paper, if this is what all the stuff means on the paperwork and they said yes. Now they say that there is no such animal in that type of glass, which no one mentioned before, they just put "obscure" on the paper and that was that. I have a project loan with them and am willing to not use the other half of the loan just to stay away from their store if they do not correct this problem. Very disappointed.

My experience today at Home Depot, Bulverde was mixed. The person who greets at the door was great, had a smile & was friendly & asked if I needed anything in particular. Very nice and I appreciated their direction. Good interaction with 1st person. Next 2nd person I found & as they were I thought with a customer I waited, but I caught the attention of the employee letting them know I needed help. So standing at the front of the aisle I waited, & waited, & waited. I can say with certainty that it was more than 5 minutes so I went toward them letting them see I was still waiting. As I was then frustrated over the non service. Turns out that the employee and other person were friends and just talking about personal matters. I turned to walk away when then they decide maybe the employee should help me, lest I go retrieve a manager. I won’t shop there if I have another option. The only reason I am generously giving it 2 stars is because of the 1st person I interacted with. The 1st person is an asset, the one is not.

This Home Depot is very racist. Especially the young redhead in the garden center. I purchased my items through the self-check bagged them on my own, and when I walked out obviously the girl didnt believe that I paid for my items. She MADE sure to call me out while I was leaving the store, and she was tending to another customer to make sure my receipt valid. RUDE! I GUESS MY BROWN SKIN IS NOT WELCOMED AT KKK DEPOT.

We had a huge return to do issy helped us she went out of her way to get our money back the way that we paid for it it all around was a great experience because of her and now I hear the managers are threatening to fire her for it when they should be applauding her

When management stops & takes you to the item you need, instead of calling for a department head, you know youre in a great store, with great management. Also he showed me that with the store app you can pin point where the product youre looking for is.

The product selection is smaller than the Home Depot near 281 and San Pedro but they frequently have good clearance specials and the staff are very helpful. Its also a convenient location off 281 for all the basics you might need.

I actually dont like HD, but they are closed than Lowes and have more selection than Tractor Supply and the local hardware store.
