I took my son here and it took over 2 1/2 hrs, I was told they would have me in and out in an hour and were so sorry. So I made an appointment for myself. I showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment, 35 minutes past my appt time I went to the desk to ask if I would be seen soon as I was on my lunch. 5 minutes later the woman came to get me, never applogized for running behind and brings me to the machines to start appointment. I explain I am on my lunch and have 18 minutes left. How long will the appoint take and for the doctor to actually see me. She tells me I will need to reschedule as they had other people before me so it would be another 20-30 to see the doctor, at least. That is 1 hour past my appointment time. This is completely unacceptable. Then they told me I could come back on Saturday. The woman told me this NEVER happens. I explained that wasnt true as it happened to me the week before. Not to mention the woman in the waiting (before me) from that left after 45 minutes stating she got a text, she told the person on the phone she was leaving, this was insane. Why would I go back? You wasted my time on 2 occations, why would I give you a 3rd chance to do it again? Honestly after being referred here, I was amazed at how they overbooked appointments, didnt leave time for "emergencies", and didnt have the help, making each person wait inbetween each thing to be done. No organization or accountablilty. Will NOT return.

First visit I showed up a 5:20 pm. Three female employees frowned and quietly stared at each other to see who would "take the bullet" to stay and serve me. It was so awkward I just left. They were relieved to see me go. But I saw a good selection of drill mounts, so I had to return. Second visit at 1:30 pm. Male in charge of fitting greeted me with a grumble and a frown. He was annoyed to assist me. He pulled my electronic records from the first visit, then disappeared into the back for 15 mins. Even my daughter noticed the "coldness" directed toward us. We slowly walked out and nobody even bothered to stop us. If you want to treated like a nuisance and inconvenience, this is the place to go. Terrible customer reception and service. Ill drive 50 miles the opposite way to be treated with gratitude and respect for my time and money.

Took my teenage granddaughter there. She said Dr. Granado was nice to her and it was "ok". That is high praise from a 15 year old. The office staff is pleasant and efficient. They gave me a card with the prescription and helped with the insurance claim. What was really impressive was the amount of time the ladies spent with her to find a pair of glasses. Her and her friend probably spent almost an hour looking at frames and trying them on. The ladies were pulling them out of drawers and cabinets to show her. They never got upset or frustrated with the two girls trying on and looking at almost every pair. Finally a choice! She was extremely happy with her choice of Coach frames. They were ready in around 10 days and fit well. She has been to this location twice and we have always been happy with the service we have received.

Ive been a patient at the Harwood Vision Clinic for approximately 4 years. Dr. Granado-Cheney has shepherded me through two eye surgeries for early onset cataracts. She is terrific - patient, never rushes through the exam and is always thorough in her explanations. State of the art diagnostics, professional and always on schedule - never have waited more than a few minutes after check-in. The office personnel are great, too. Efficient, friendly, great at helping sort out insurance issues. Ive purchased glasses here in the past as well, using their in-store optician. What a convenience vs. the "big box" stores that often got the prescription wrong and had to remake. I used to live just a few blocks from this office, but have since moved. Matters not - these folks are worth the drive!

I have used this clinic for over 20 years and will NEVER leave, even though I moved from the HEB area. I will travel whatever distance it takes to use them. They saved me from the hassle of trying to keep up with reading glasses by putting me in mono-vision soft contact lens and have remained my eye care professionals ever since. Dr. Latham is just awesome and I have never met an unpleasant staff member there. They are ALL kind, caring, professionals and they have the most modern equipment for vision care. I give them the highest recommendation possible to give.

I am used to Army doctors and usually go get my eyes checked at a local Walmart. I decided to get some individual vision insurance and try out this clinic. The experience was awesome, the medical staff was excellent, kind, and patient. I am normally pretty anxious when it comes to eye exams and I am used to them being unpleasant, but here I was put at ease. Dr. Pham explained everything and answered all my questions. I felt so comfortable I went and ordered a new pair of glasses after my exam. The pricing was competitive even without vision insurance.

The absolute worst place to have a eye exam! They over charge on everything and are quiet rude and demeaning to others that work there and/or patients. A lady by the name of Janice was rude not only to me but I over heard her speaking about other employees in a negative manner. While sitting in the exam room waiting for the Dr. Latham I over heard this lady talking about ordering the doctors personal triple X movies and having them sent to the office! I would recommend to anyone stay away from this place they are crooks rude and very unprofessional.

My wife and I have been coming to Harwood Vision Clinic at least annually for 17 years. We have watched and experienced Dr.Lathams practice growing with his investment in the ever changing technology of modern vision care. He is a very warm and personable specialist in this field and maintains a very substantial additional investment in the downstream retail products and personnel offering some of the best name lenses,frames and contacts in the business. We obviously highly recommend his practice to any new prospective patients.

My insurance was to cover glasses or contacts 100%, so I went in for a contact lens appt and ended up paying almost $200 because they chose to give me both a contact lens and eye glass exam without my approval. When my wife questioned the obvious over billing they were extremely rude and offered a $20 discount. Stay away from this place they are clearly just milking the insurance industry. I have worn glasses my whole life and have never experienced this type of treatment

Dr. NHI Pham: you are outstanding!!! I never received so many medical information about my eyes: how to sit properly in front of the computer, explaining my X rays etc...No one before, and I went to quite a few optometrists, gave me so many details. Dr Pham was very patient, kind, so knowledgeable, such a great personality! I highly recommend Dr. Pham. All staff at Harwood Vision Clinic were outstanding. Jeanne-Marie.Bellucci.
